Oh, how we miss Simon Cowell. He would have torn into Eben Franckewitz last night.

Not that we want to see a 15-year old cry on stage, but let's be honest: this Justin Bieber lookalike is not ready for primetime, and certainly not ready to try his voice on an Adele single.

But that's exactly what Eben attempted, covering "Set Fire to Rain" and simply failing to hit any of the proper notes, while looking overwhelmed on such a grand stage.

No, Randy Jackson, Franckewitz did not "collect himself like a pro," which is understandable: he's not a pro. He's only 15. And he may have a bright future in the business, but he doesn't on season 11 of American Idol.

It's not hard to imagine Colton Dixon on Broadway, is it?

This American Idol veteran - who tried out for both previous seasons and hadn't even planned on giving it a third go until the judges convinced him during his sister's opening audition this year - covered "Decode" on last night's live audition show, leaping atop a piano to close the performance and looking like he belongs in "American Idiot" or "Rock of Ages."

That's not a diss. Just an observation. Jennifer Lopez told Colton he sings "from the heart," but she told that to pretty much every contestant last night.

Watch Dixon's performance now and decide how he compares to other season 11hopefuls such as Deandre Brackensick.

Already the parents of two beautiful daughters, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are now the proud mom and dad of a beautiful baby boy as well! Congratulations!

The A-list couple, who got married back in 2005, have proven pretty skillfull at picking out pretty girl names, with Violet and Seraphina. The little boy's name?

Alas, mum's the word on the little guy's name for now. But he's here!

Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck

Jen and Ben with Violet, 6, last fall. Seraphina is 3.

"It would be so weird to have a boy," the actress told Ellen DeGeneres recently, but also said the experience would be absolutely "cool and different."

Affleck, in turn, said that the 3-against-1 female-to-male ratio in his house leaves him significantly outnumbered. Looks like he has a teammate at last!

"He knows when to swoop in with the gesture. He's sweet that way," the actress says of her husband. "Honestly, I would do anything for that man."

"I always know that it's not taken for granted."

Aww. Congrats again to the whole family!

UPDATE: "We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck," Ben announced via Facebook.

It's safe to say Deandre Brackensick might be the most polarizing contestant on season 11 of American Idol.

The high school senior - who could easily pass for at least 25 - possesses a unique look (that hair!) and a unique sound (that voice!), both of which caused the judges to fall all over themselves with praise. Randy even said Brackensick was one of the most commercially-ready contestants the show has ever had.

Really? Would you buy a Deandre Brackensick album? The contestant covered Earth, Wind, and Fire's "Reasons" for his live performance and we highly recommend giving it a listen below. It's... different.

How does Deandre stack up against fellow men Phillip Phillips and Reed Grimm? You tell us!

Reed Grimm kicked off the first live American Idol show with serious energy. Or serious drumming, we should say.

Indeed, the confident contestant didn't just show off his Jagger-like moves in this Adam Levine cover; he also demonstrated his versatility - drawing comparisons to Casey Abrams in the process - by moving around on stage and taking on a drum set at one point. It was different and entertaining, that's for sure.

Was it on par vocally with Phillips Phillips? No. But we expect Grimm to advance to the finals. Will you be voting for him?

On last week's episode, we watched Tamra and Eddie patch up their relationship after a wayward boob grab in Catalina. We also saw Vicki and Alexis awkwardly learn of the newfound friendship Gretchen and Tamra are rekindling at Heather’s painting party.

Tonight, we’ve got comedy, and, of course, drama. What else went down tonight? Find out with in THG's Real Housewives of Orange County +/- recap below!

Gretchen Rossi Stand-Up

We start off the night with Vicki and Tamra at Vicki’s house that she still shares with Don. Her not-yet-ex-husband. Tamra is upset that Vicki didn’t say goodbye to her after Heather’s party. And Vicki is being all kinds of passive-aggressive about Tamra’s newfound friendship with Gretchen.

Vicki is pretty butthurt over the whole thing, so she starts playing the one-up game and claims that she and Alexis are BFFs now. Tamra knows better. Tamra breaks out a book called 52 Weeks of Great Sex that she bought with Gretchen and Vicki is immediately turned off.

“It’s not Biblical,” says Vicki. Tamra fires back, “Oh God, you have been hanging out with Alexis!” Minus 10 to Vicki for acting like a scorned 14 year old girl. And a prude.

Plus 10 to Tamra for playing dirty with Vicki.

Alexis and Heather are getting together for sushi and sake. Alexis claims she’s doing news anchoring – and, of course, she’s just doing some booty-lifting guest spots on the local news channel.

Heather is in disbelief, asking if she’s more like Jillian Barberie or Katie Couric. “I would be more like Jillian Bar-beer-ee” says Alexis. Minus 5, you ditz.

On the first live audition show of season 11, American Idol judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez tossed out nothing but praise. Every performance was magical, every contestant apparently did an incredible job.

It was pure fluff and rather annoying, but at least the panel got it right with one hopeful: Phillip Phillips.

This crooner covered a Phil Collins classic, strumming his guitar to "In the Air Tonight" and hitting all the right notes. Randy compared Phillips to Dave Matthews, which may have been the only intelligent thing Randy said all night. Watch the performance and judge for yourself...

Mitt Romney won the Michigan primary narrowly over Rick Santorum Tuesday, reclaiming some momentum in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

He also won Arizona, by a much bigger margin.

Romney needed to win both, but especially Michigan (where he grew up when his father was governor) to assert his ability to regain his tarnished frontrunner status.

A Santorum win in Michigan would have raised questions about how strong a candidate Romney is within the GOP, and even a narrow defeat may have done so.

Nevertheless, Romney was 2-for-2 last night. Whether that gives him a critical boost heading into 10 "Super Tuesday" primaries March 6 remains an open question.

Empirically, Michigan's 30 delegates to the Republican convention, where the nominee is actually chosen this summer, will be allocated on a proportional basis.

That's in contrast to Romney's victory in Arizona, which was both expected and more thorough, netting him all 29 delegates in that state's winner-take-all primary.

Santorum portrayed his Michigan defeat as better than expected, even after leading in the polls earlier this month, given Romney's financial and territorial edge.

"This was going to be Romney's night. The question was how big. And it wasn't very big," Santorum said, adding that it's a "two-person race right now" with Mitt.

Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich, despite finishing a distant third and fourth Tuesday, have both indicated they are still in this for the long haul to amass delegates.

The Arizona and Michigan primary results, according to Real Clear Politics:

With the March 23 release of The Hunger Games - a film that has set box office records for advanced ticket sales - Jennifer Lawrence is about to become a global sensation. But don't tell that to the actress.

"I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, 'I'd never want to be that famous,'" Lawrence tells the latest issue of Glamour UK. ""I can't imagine how I'd feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium."

With such anticipation for The Hunger Games, though, and with two more films in the franchise beyond that, Lawrence - and British boyfriend Nicholas Hoult - should prepare for a paparazzi onslaught. Not that the actress is really causing a stink.

"In some ways, it's a hard life, but it's a great professional life," she says. "I'm doing what I love, and then I get months and months of rest. I have a lot of money for a 21-year-old. I can't stand it when actors complain."

Amen, Jennifer.

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood just got out of jail free ... mostly.

On Friday, the MTV reality train wreck was released from jail, but instead of heading to a halfway house after leaving the Madison County (Ind.) correctional facility, she's already settling in at another house ... her maternal grandmother's.

"Amber is all taken care of [and] getting settled in," says her mom, Tonya.

Last week, after the halfway house denied Amber, her mom told us that she was "happy and relieved that she [wouldn't] have to live in a halfway house."

"Now she will get to spend more time with her daughter, which is what this was all about anyway," Tonya said. A bonus of the new living arrangement?

Filming of Teen Mom is still a go!

Though she is still required to attend rehab at Sister 2 Sister Ministries, in Anderson, Ind., production can proceed with her living at grandma's place.

Filming was banned at Sister 2 Sister, where Amber Portwood was set to live upon her release before the residence wanted no part of it. So it's win-win?
