Odd story. Doesn't seem like something she would do. Tweets dont sound like her either. I'm sure she didn't realize that this was frowned upon...:-)
My God, you people are such opportunists- if you were on her show and got a free car each, OPRAH would be GOD right? So disgusting how ur tiny minds work and how you jump on the band wagon and over react over every tiny little thing...
My cable bill is high enough, will not pay to watch OWN, it isn't included in my package. Perhaps OWN should come down a level so people can watch her without paying extra $.
@ WV Peach, Hello!! Glad to hear from you!! I don't know what the happenings are at OWN, but after exploring my fact checking radar, Oprah's longtime friend Gayle King has jumped off the OWN ship to host The *CBS News program. She No longer is hosting The Gayle King Show on BFF Oprah Winfrey Network. The Grammy Awards were presented last Night on the *CBS Network. How ironic that Oprah has a reputation for being such a generous hostess, but yet she would dare to request that viewers would deny themselves the annual Grammy Award Show when they can watch her Network of shows any time day or Night. Oprah secured viewer attention for 25 years, are we Not allowed to make up our ""own"" minds about what we want to watch without her suggesting that we continue watching her "doctored up" programming ??
I'm not a huge Opera fan, but does anyone else find something off with the Tweets? Somehow I can't picture a woman who funds schools and so strongly promotes reading would write such horribly awkward sentences and forget how to spell the word 'you'.
