Mitt Romney Sings "America the Beautiful," Awkwardness Ensues

We kid. While we are endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, as the GOP presidential hopeful reminds us, most of us are not endowed with singing abilities.
In that respect: Mitt Romney ... He's just like us!
The Republican often delves into a monologue on the campaign trail about the greatness of America as seen through the lyrics of "America the Beautiful."
In Iowa, for instance, he said that the "amber waves of grain" were corn; in Florida, he tied the "spacious skies" to the state's role in space exploration.
Typically, Romney will talk-sing the lyrics, but he must have had a second cup of coffee this week, as he actually burst into song in The Villages, Fla.
The crowd of mostly senior citizens sang along. The press covering Romney, who won Florida's primary easily, wondered, "Was this really happening?"
It was, and on the Tonight Show last night, Michelle Obama described Romney’s singing as “beautiful” and said the song should be sung by everyone.
Classy lady. But can Mitt hold a candle to Barack singing Al Green?!

Who cares how they sing? We do not need more people who need how to sing, we need people who know how to lead a country. Leave the singing for the celebrities, not for politicians.
Its more to determine if someone can sing than singing a snipet of a song. Mitt sang most of the song and was on key although voice not beautiful he showed his love for America in his choice Obama was trying to charm the "silling" women and get votes.
I HAVEN'T HEARD EITHER OF THEM SING. I KNOW OBAMA PLAYS GOLF. IF ROMNEY PLAYS GOLF, HAVE THEM PLAY EACH OTHER, AND THE WINNER BECOMES PRESIDENT. OH, WAIT, OBAMA ALREADY SCREWED THAT UP. WELL, SOON IT WILL BE ROMNEY'S TURN, AS PRESIDENT. OH, AND TO THE WOMAN WHO SAID, OBAMA IS THE WHOLE PACKAGE, I DO BELIEVE THAT ROMNEY IS BETTER LOOKING, AND A HELL OF A LOT WEALTHIER. WEALTH, HAS ALWAYS BEEN PART OF THE WHOLE PACKAGE.

So much jealousy and nasty. Obama is the whole male package most women are looking for and the fact that he can also sing is a bonus. Women of all races are looking for men of this quality and it's not race it's the quality and many men of all races are like Obama. That is what we women most of us are looking for in a man.
