Kate Gosselin: So Sad, So Lonely!
by Free Britney at .Kate Gosselin still doesn’t know if she is ready to move on.
It’s been nearly two years since she separated from her ex Jon Gosselin, and the mother of eight sat down with Dr. Drew Wednesday for a tearful, candid interview.
The usually stoic 36-year-old got choked up, confessing that the single life “so lonely” and saying it would take a very special man to take on eight kids now.
Even if one wanted to, she isn't sure she can handle that.
When asked “Do you have a love life?’ Kate replied: "No. I'm too busy."
"A lot of my friends who are being constructive say 'gosh, who are you going to meet that is going to be able to deal with eight kids?' My answer's always if they can deal with eight children in our situation it probably will be the person. It will sort of prove it."
Dr. Drew pushed Kate further, asking: "You're tough but don't you want somebody in your life?" To which she replied: "Absolutely! The odds are so against me."
“I mean, I don’t expect someone to come in and financially provide for my kids, I mean, they’re mine, that’s my job. So, just to have somebody there...”"One mom and eight kids ... so it would be great. I mean, I’m so lonely. I clean up the house, put the kids to bed and there I sit. Ideally I would find that person."
"I mean, I just don't know if I feel ready for that."
Guys, would you date Kate Gosselin?

I wonder all you haters with your sob stories of my mum had 8 kids I got divorced with x amount of kids any better then whining Kate.... Aren't u just whining to! of u can't stand her why read and comment on a Kate gosselin article.
Kate.....lonely..... no pity for her, she deserves it, maybe if she had more plastic surgery it might cheer her up, I just hope Jon does'nt have to pay for it! As far as her being stuck at home with the kids - come on now- I bet she hardly ever sees them!!!!!!!
oh please, give me a break! my mother-law raised 8 sons while farming, gardens canning and butchering chickens. in those days that work was left to the wife with no help from the husband! im amazed she was able to keep the farm after her husband died at a young age without the help of a tv show for income! get a real job and a life! suck it up! everyone else has too.
The advantages fo having many children; these are the intangible benefits of parenting that you can only appreciate once you have children. such as the first "i love you", holding tiny hands, the experience of nuturturing and teaching a brand new person. the knowledge that you had NO idea how much capacity for love you had until you saw your child for the first time. Disadvantages: 1. The biggest change of your life ever. 2. The biggest time sink in your life time. 3. The biggest money sink in your life time. 4. The biggest stress creator in your life time. 5. The biggest fights in your life time. 6. The biggest worry of your life time. 7. The biggest threat of your life time. I personally am a true believer in small family. Most part of my life has been a single mother of a beautiful 31 years old daughter. Good luck to this lady. i believe she was never responsable to take care of her own person.
I do not agree with some of Kate's choices and actions; Jon had a job until they became a household name ans he decidec to quit his job. Yes, Kate is a nurse, but a regular nurse with about 10 years experience working in a hospital full-time dayshift (which usually includes every other weekend) can expect to make about 58k to 60k per year. In addition to that, many areas are saturated with nurses and Kate has not worked in nursing in quite a while. She would need to take a refresher course a local university for nursing re-entry to work again. That is probably another few thousand dollars. While I am not a huge fan of hers, the media endorsements and bit parts she can pick up seem like a more logical way to meet her family's financial needs at this time if lover boy, Jon, is not stepping up to the plate with a real job to pay child support.
