Chris Brown Wins, Performs at Grammy Awards

by at . Comments

Chris Brown returned to the Grammy Awards for the first time in three years Sunday night, notching a win for Best R&B album and putting on a spirited live performance.

Three years after assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna on the eve of the Grammys, Brown (who was convicted of felony assault) took that Staples Center stage.

The 22-year-old won over the crowd with a glow-in-the-dark rendition of "Turn Up the Music" and "Beautiful People." Take a look at the singer's effort below ...

There were no innuendos or screen cuts to ex-flame Rihanna. Chris Brown simply finished his songs, stood triumphantly and saluted the crowd before taking a bow.

Breezy - as Brown is nicknamed - made the night an even bigger success when he went on to win his first ever Grammy Award, for Best R&B Album for F.A.M.E.

"People who make mistakes and learn from them are ROLE MODELS too. Im just happy to inspire growth and positivity, #TEAMBREEZYdidit" Brown tweeted.

The haters and the skeptics remain in large quantities, but if his actions continue to match such words, he'll be on his way to a great career comeback.

3 years later, he's still a turd. If he was any other person who beat the crap out of a woman no-one would ever deal with him again. But because he can make a label a little money they'll force him out there and let the brainless sheep welcome him back.

Not sure I'm a Chris Brown hater, but I'm definitely not a fan.
Good for him if he is not in prison, but I don't care to see him on an awards show. Also, I am missing the talent part; what exactly does he do well that warrants a Grammy?
