Please say it isn't so! Taylor is a singer that is over rated! When I hear her on the radio, I have to turn it off - she is terrible and just has a good agent. Hate her singing and would never want to see a movie that she would be in. She is not a singer, nor an actress!!

I have seen Les Miz 8 times on Broadway. I am so excited to see a different take on this story! I think Taylor will rise to the challenge of this role and I’m sure the studio wouldn’t risk casting her unless they had some pretty remarkable singing in that audition.

Taylor is so talented and I'm so anxious to see this movie now. I can't believe there are some who are questioning her acting. You might want to check out her SNL performances.

I love Taylor. She's come so far and if she works hard (which she always does), she'll do a great job.

I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF SHE BECAME A HUGH, ROMANTIC COMEDY STAR. IF MUSICAL COMEDIES EVER COME BACK, WHICH I DOUBT, SHE WOULD BE TODAYS, DORIS DAY.

As a Big-Fan of Les Mis "I'm Shocked and Appalled at the Horrible-Choice of Ms. Swift". She has no-acting or singing-ability whatsoever! Got "Pushed-Up The Ladder Of Success by Toby Keith, Tim McGraw who has his own-share of problems with Curb Records and preferring Movies over Singing anymore". Poor-Choice if You ask-Me!

I totally agree with Melissa. Taylor IS overrated. EVERY time I've heard her sing live on TV, she has NOT been good. Very pitchy, not a lot of strength. I agree she has a great publicity team. I really don't see the talent here. There are those that can go on stage "live" and belt out a song and sound exactly the same as their albums.... and there are those that can't. Sadly, Taylor can't. Her fake sickingly sweet modesty gets to me too. I love Les Miserables.... but too bad Taylor will be in it.

If this is true - that would be a shame. She's a terrible actress and singer for that matter - without auto tune she would be no where. She's an overrated singer with very little talent and a great publicity team. There are more more talented real actresses that would fit this role perfectly...those that don't need auto tune.

Good for her...EXCEPT, I hope Taylor doesn't burn out on fame and fortune. It is a very hard road to take on fame and keep your head about you. MOST people botch it and become ruined (cocaine, sex, partying etc.) Everyone says, "Oh, I won't get that way...." but like a subtle poison, it leaks into every area of your life and one day you end up losing your life at age 34. Just saying, I wish her all the best....just don't overdose.
