Taylor Swift Rumored for Major Movie Role
Taylor Swift is about to make a major mark on the movie industry.
The singer has reportedly been offered the role of Eponine in the upcoming big screen adaption of Broadway's Les Miserables. The character belts out one of the show's most beloved numbers, "On My Own," and Swift beat out such heavyweights for the part as Scarlett Johansson, Lea Michele and Evan Rachel Wood.
The film will also star Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen. Impressive company, indeed, for Swift.
The singer's only previous acting work involved small roles in Valentine's Day and CSI.

i don't even like lea michelle,but i think she would be better because she is an amazing actress and singer. i saw taylor in valentines day and csi and she is a bad actress and she doesn't have the vocal chops for it

I do not believe that Taylor Swift can pull off that role. I'm not a fan of Glee (not at all), but Lea Michele has an amazing voice. Powerful! Evan Rachel Wood could probably pull it off as well.

All you people that are saying mean things about Taylor only getting famous from the help of her publicity team: you all need to go get a life. She is famous for her meaningful and heart-felt songs THAT SHE WRITES HERSELF. Do you know how rare it is these day that a singer actually cares enough and has enough passion to write their own music? I'm behind her 100%, and you all should be ashamed.
