Usher is taking action against his ex-wife and her recent allegations about the singer.

In late November, Tameka Raymond filed papers in a Georgia court that asked a judge to award her custody of the former couple's two children on grounds that Usher reneged on multiple promises he made to her. For example, he supposedly canceled Tameka's Saks 5th Avenue credit card.

The gall of this man, we know.

But now Usher has fired a legal shot of his own, denying all accusations in newly filed court documents and requesting that a judge to throw out his ex's request for full custody of the two kids they currently share.

He has also refused to take a drug test, despite Tameka's repeated attempts to force the issue.

A trial date has been set for February 27.

Yes, this is a real ad, seen by millions during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve the other night. Not unlike watching Clark attempting to count down the seconds until 2012, the "Forever Lazy" infomercial is awkward and unintentionally hilarious.

The ad, and product, have actually been around awhile, but never has its exposure been so great. Airing just before midnight on December 31, it helped ring in a whole new year of laziness - and comfort! - for millions nationwide. Snuggle up, people!

Basically, it's like the pajamas little kids sleep in, only it's for adults, and not for sleeping. And there's a zipper in back so you don't even have to take it off to relieve yourself.

We kid not:

Despite reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton's New Year's plans involved spending time at his father's sprawling Scotland, estate, they chose a more low-key locale.

A tent pitched in the back garden of the Middleton family's yard!

According to the U.K.'s Mail on Sunday, Pippa Middleton, who along with her parents is in the party-planning business, played host to the (relatively) small soiree.

  • Duchess Catherine
  • Pip Off to Work

The Middleton girls know how to dress - and party!

The stylish sister has expensive taste: The tent alone cost nearly $5,000 (or 3,000 in British pounds) to set up behind their home in Berkshire, England.

Described by an onlooker as a "canvas palace," the tent enclosed a dance floor and seating for more than 100 party-goers ready to ring in 2012.

"[Kate Middleton] looked full of the joys of the season," a party-goer said of 2011's royal bride, 29, who laughed and joked with her husband, also 29.

The celebration in her hometown with Pippa, 27, comes nearly a week after the Duchess' first Christmas as a royal in Sandringham, Norfolk.

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is opening up about overcoming her daughter Aliannah's health issues, which have been a focal point of the show's second season.

On last week's episode, doctors finally told her that Ali is not suffering from any mental abnormalities, even though one of her optic nerves is indeed smaller.

"I was relieved," says Leah Messer, who has watched Aliannah, 2, develop at an alarmingly slower rate than her twin sister, Aleeah. "The worst thing I could've heard would be that there's something wrong with Aliannah's brain."

Leah Messer, Baby

While Leah has tried her best to hide her nerves from her daughter, "it was pretty hard and emotional as a mom to know that something could be wrong with my child."

So while Aleeah took her first steps nearly a year ago, Leah's just as proud of Aliannah's scooting around on her knees and making progress with her physical therapist.

"She's doing great," gushes Leah.

Doctors have yet to rule out a genetic disorder for Ali, but still, Leah's thinking about expanding her family - not with ex-husband Corey Simms, but with her new BF.

In fact, some rumors say that Leah and boyfriend Jeremy Calvert, who are heating up fast, are expecting. We don't believe that for a second, but they are serious.

"Jeremy and I do talk about getting engaged," she reveals.

MTV is officially reviving Punk'd.

The reality show - which aims to pull pranks on famous people - originally aired from 2003-2007 and was hosted by Ashton Kutcher. The new version, however, will be helmed by a different celebrity each week, with MTV announcing hosts last night that include Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kellan Lutz, Bam Margera and Dax Shepard. It will premiere on March 19.

In the following sneak peek, Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne supposedly pull a fast one on Khloe Kardashian, as she's forced to call 911 after a delivery man's testicles get caught in his zipper:

Sunday on Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Kourt went kouponing, Scott bought a piano and Kris was on a quest to uncover Jonathan Cheban's sexual orientation.

Yes, with a cast as interesting as drywall, they had to bring in this klown.

The story editors and writers are getting creative, though. Give 'em that.

Is Scott serious about his baby grand? Did Kourt save big bucks? What was the final verdict on Jonathan? Does anyone care? Here's our weekly rekap, THG style!

Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban

Scott and friend Chris (not Kris) take a walk and see a fabulous $1.5 million grand piano in a storefront. Wait ... they're serious? Scott has friends still? Plus 10!

Disick goes with the baby grand instead. Recession and all. Plus 12.

As Scott flaunts wealth, Kourtney discovers the couponing craze! See what the writers are doing here, playing up the “opposites attract” angle?! Fail. Minus 35.

Kim and Kris double date with Simon Huck and his boyfriend. Then Huck's business partner and Kim's BFF Jonathan Cheban shows up, alone. Mysterious!! Plus 7.

Kris says it's obvious that Jonathan is a homosexual individual. He then proceeds to ask him about it point blank in a store. Wow, Kris. Awkward much? Minus 20.

In case it wasn't clear just who came out on top in the Kris Humphries/Kim Kardashian divorce, consider:

The latter spent this weekend in Las Vegas, hosting a party at Tao in Las Vegas and making serious bank in the process. Humphries, meanwhile? He and the New Jersey Nets visited Cleveland and were blown out by the Cavs, 98-82, falling to 1-4 on the young season.

Kris was once again booed heartily by an opposing crowd, and he couldn't silence the jeers with his play. Following a performance last season where he set s Quicken Loans Arena record with 23 rebounds, Humphries only managed 11 points and five boards yesterday afternoon.

But he doesn't have time to dwell on those stats or on his team's poor play. He and the Nets play the Pacers this evening in Indiana.

New Year's Eve telecasts were chock full of entertaining performances, from Justin Bieber to Selena Gomez.

But Kathy Griffin has stolen many of the headlines from these performers, not by belting out any notes... but by undoing her belt, along with other items of clothing.

Indeed, the comedian co-hosted CNN's Time Square coverage alongside Anderson Cooper and shed most of her layers while the camera was capturing the crystal ball, confetti and thousands of revelers. When it returned, viewers were treated to the following awkward sight:

"Are you freaking kidding me?" Cooper asked, trying to stifle the sort of laughter that engulfed him a few weeks ago on live TV.

"I have a no-apology policy," Griffin told CBS news hours after the broadcast. "No apologies for jokes. I apologize in my real life all the time. I say ridiculous things, I make mistakes constantly... But when I'm on stage, I'm at a microphone... it's a joke!"

Katy Perry's divorce from Russell Brand wasn't due to a particular event or issue. The pair simply got married too fast and are too different, sources say.

They were infatuated with each other when they wed in October 2010, but had only been together about a year at that point, and things went south fast.

People close to the couple say Katy and Russell were head over heels for each other, fascinated to be with a great person who was an extreme opposite.

The problems came when the honeymoon phase wore off.

A Russell Brand and Katy Perry Pic

After they got married, they fought constantly, often in front of people at clubs and shows. They're both stubborn and strong-willed, making things worse.

Their busy schedules didn't help, as they never spent long periods of time with each other. In the end, despite their attraction, they were "just too different."

Brand, who filed for divorce Friday, is more of a homebody than Katy, 27, who loves going out partying. Russell, 36, has been sober for years and didn't enjoy the scene.

He would often voice his desire to stay in or leave places early, asking her to come with him, which would trigger arguments. So it went. Not a long-term match.

At the end of the day, neither hates the other, there's no bad blood, and not even a hint of impropriety on either part. Just a mutual parting of ways.

Sad, but something a lot of people, famous or not, can relate to.
