Selena Gomez has received numerous death threats from misguided Justin Bieber fans who apparently don't want their favorite singer to be happy.

Is the artist scared in the moment sometimes, when such nasty messages are sent her way? We'd have to believe so. But asked about her boyfriend's enthusiastic supporters during an interview with Baltimore radio station Z104.3 this week, the 19-year-old came across quite mature and understanding.

"It's a little odd, but I understand it completely," Selena said. "It's amazing to me to see how many passionate fans there are. So obviously, you've just got to think of the fans first, and that's okay."

Gomez and Bieber both rang in 2012 from Times Square, with the former belting out a performance as soon as the clock struck midnight.

Selena admits it's "kind of" annoying that she and her young man can't share the same fans, but added it's "kind of cool we have our own individual [fans]."

This week on the LeAnn Rimes Twitter watch, the outspoken country star is shooting down rumors that she is expecting her first child with husband Eddie Cibrian.

She's not, and they're not even trying, thankyouverymuch.

Often seen toting around Cibrian's sons Jake and Mason from his previous marriage to Brandi Glanville, the couple were married in April - but don't look for them to grow the family with a baby of their own anytime soon. Says Rimes on Twitter:

LeAnn Rimes Hair

"I've never even tried so please stop discussing my ovaries LOL," she said. "Unfortunately it's beyond not true & not something I feel people should throw around."

"Cause it takes some couples a long time to conceive & some never can. The rumors don't offend me, I just think its crazy that people up make articles out of nonsense, so when it comes to me and all the speculation I have to laugh :)"

Hard to argue with her there. We're just glad she, Eddie and Brandi are on relatively good terms ... at least for the time being. This minute. That situation is combustible.

In her new, humbly-titled biography - "Life is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real With the Housewife Who Does It All" - Kyle Richards offers some scandalous advice.

Simply put, she tells husbands and wives: "If you cheat once, don't tell. You get a free pass."

Kyle Richards Memoir

"I've seen circumstances with people that I know are in love with their spouse and they made one mistake and I said - this is somebody that I know, nobody that anybody knows here, 'Listen, if this really was a one time mistake, and you did not put this person in jeopardy,' I personally think you should deal with it with yourself and with God and not go and say: 'Honey look what I did,' because I knew that this would ruin their relationship and their life.

"And I can tell you that many, many, many years later they're happy and together and she did make that mistake and she has to carry that and live with that."

Do you agree with Kyle's advice, readers? Should one-time cheaters come clean?

The epic, four-minute trailer for the all-new season of The Bachelor that aired at the end of last night's season premiere has to be seen to be believed.

It has the feel of a big-budget film, not a reality show. Clearly, ABC ditched any pretense of love and ramped up the nudity, side plots and suspense.

More power to them. Sure, Ben is a real nice guy who probably does want to marry his final rose recipient, but it's ALL about the drama this year:

Straddling Ben, stripping buck naked in the ocean and openly taunting the competition, it seems safe to say Courtney's the "bad girl" this winter.

But who is the girl in red? Ben's ex? Another familiar face? See our page dedicated to The Bachelor spoilers to find out (what we think is) the answer.

And who is the woman in black? Is it the Black Widow herself?!

Cloaked in mystery (and ridiculousness), she boards a chopper on what we presume is the finale, only to do "a 180" about saying yes to Ben Flajnik?!

Share all your theories with us in the comments, and stay tuned all winter log as THG live blogs the scripted, contrived awesomeness of each episode.

The Jersey Shore gang is back in Seaside once again.

This Thursday, January 5, we pick up right where we last left Snooki, Pauly D, Vinny, Sitch, JWoww, Sammi and Ronnie. The flew out of Italy and directly to N.J. with no break.

Probably not the best idea (see Season 5 trailer) but hindsight is 20/20.

After a red eye flight, the guidos and guidettes decided to their GTL on pronto! This new sneak peek from Thursday's season premiere shows the guys at the barber shop.

Is Vin trying out for the UFC? Did The Situation just make a small hole in the ozone layer with the amount of hairspray he used? You decide after the jump ...

Not having a steady job in years appears to be agreeing with Mischa Barton.

The actress strolled around Miami Beach in a retro bikini this week, and while we find the high-waisted shorts to be uglier than her character on The OC, we must say: we're impressed by Barton's body. It's far less skeletal than it used to be:

  • Mischa Barton Bikini Photo

According to The New York Post, Barton has been telling friends her figure is due to “eating really healthy, keeping a mostly vegan diet and running." And therein apparently lies the key: eating. Perhaps Shenae Grimes should take notes on that.

Surf around our collection of bikini photos now and then weigh in on Barton's swimsuit: Do you like it?

GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has received a celebrity endorsement on the day of the Iowa caucuses. Or 19 of them, to be precise: The Duggar Family!

The TLC reality family joined the ultraconservative candidate in Iowa on the campaign trail, where he's battling Ron Paul and Mitt Romney with mere hours to go.

Confession time, though: Santorum is not their first choice.

Duggar and Santorum

"You may not agree with everything [Santorum] has done," Jim Bob Duggar said. "But you're not going to find the perfect candidate unless it's Jesus Christ running."

Santorum, to the family patriarch, is the next best thing.

"He's somebody that doesn't take a poll to know where he stands. I'm asking families, Christians all over America, to get behind Rick Santorum for president."

Duggar made his comments in Iowa, where he arrived after packing up a dozen of his kids in a big tour bus, freshly repainted to include Santorum's name.

With the lowest box office gross in 16 years, 2011 was a year the movie industry would like to forget, despite a handful of mammoth hits. Will 2012 turn things around?

Time will tell, but there are no shortage of exciting films landing in theaters in the next 12 months. From action thrillers to rom-coms to 'tween fare, 2012 has it all!

That said, here's a look at 12 movies THG is particularly excited for this year:

12. Men in Black 3

Admit it, rolled your eyes when you first heard this was being made, but you're excited. Or you were just fist-pumping from the start. Either way, here they come!

11. The Bourne Legacy

Okay, we don't really care about seeing this. We just want to see if President Obama slams Jeremy Renner's performance at the White House Correspondents' dinner.

10. What to Expect When You're Expecting

Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Glee's Matthew Morrison make for easily the most-hyped must-see rom-com of the new year. J. Lo does it all, baby!

Kelly Clarkson stepped into some serious controversy last week when she endorsed Ron Paul for President of the United States.

But the singer made up for that snafu in New Orleans last night, playing a long, free set as part of the the 2012 Allstate Fan Fest, an event that preceded this evening's Allstate Sugar Bowl between two undeserving BCS teams, Michigan and Virginia Tech.

Among other hits, the first-ever American Idol belted out such singles as “Since U Been Gone,” “Stronger,” “Mr. Know It All” and “Breakaway." Listen to a version of "You Love Me" below:

“Thanks New Orleans! That was fun :)” Clarkson Tweeted after the concert.
