Katy Perry will appear at the People's Choice Awards January 11.

This is not surprising, as she is likely the people's choice for a great many things. But it will mark her first public appearance since her divorce was announced.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand were married only for a little over a year, and she's been laying low in Hawaii as the firestorm of media scrutiny blows over.

But she's got to return sometime, and next week's that time.

Perry is not expected to present during the show. However, considering she is nominated for a whopping seven awards, there may be a brief speech in her future.

Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Lea Michele, Ashley Greene, Adam Levine and Julianne Hough are just some of the other stars set to attend.

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco will host the big show with performances by Demi Lovato and Faith Hill, live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
