Christina Aguilera Covers "At Last" at Etta James Funeral

“She was the one that cut right through my soul. So tonight, Etta, this song is for you,” the 31-year-old artist said before belting out a version of "At Last."
Stevie Wonder also performed “Shelter in the Rain” with a church choir at the emotional event, while Rev. Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy for James, 73, who died last week at the due to complications from leukemia.

All of you people bashing Christina Aguilera sound like a bunch of uptight bitches. She is one of the most talented female singers of modern times, and Etta James was one of her idols. Compared to your typical pop stars she is a diamond among pebbles. If you haters really have a problem with her outfit you need to get a life. Yes it showed cleavage, but that was all. Grow up.
All the people bashing her need to shut up. honestly? like you could sing anything close to that. Yes, shes white. Yes - maybe her clothing choice isnt perfect. But you can not say that she cant sing. It doesnt matter what her freaking skin colour is - the girl has beautiful riffs and a wonderful voice. Just because she isnt black, doesnt mean she cant sing with soul. Im a white female singer in an r&b group, which i auditioned to get into. And another singer in the group is white too with an incredible voice. My role models as a vocalist are Aretha, Etta, Christina and Regina Spektor. All of these women have extraordinary talent. It doesnt matter what they look like, skin colour or clothing wise. If they have talent - they deserve at least that credit. Id like to see any of you critics get up and perform like her. If any of you do - ill shut the hell up. but until then, i suggest you do.
