Sorry, but even considering people can decide for themselves to make/eat Paula's creations -- her greedy, self-serving actions are quite hypocritical. If nothing else, she's a total enabler, and not a very good cook if she needs all that butter, sugar, cheese, salt and deep-frying to make something taste good. Anybody can do that -- even me!

Anthony promotes a lifestyle of indulgent drinking of alcohol and smoking on his show, so when he develops emphezema, lung cancer, or liver disease, who will be a hypocrite?

Bitches stay pressed over people's personal shit.
Any fucking idiot with a brain knows that you make Deen's dishes maybe once a month or a few dishes for holidays only. Whomever this Dourdain fool is he needs to shut the hell up and let her profit off of disease the way the rest of the medical profession in this country does and let the people with common sense not purchase what meds she hawks. I never saw her show a day in my life but I am buying her shit now to support her.

He's not saying that she had a legal obligation to tell her diagnosis, or that she should have said something 3 yrs ago when she found out. He's simply saying that she's a hypocrite for making a living hawking recipes that could very well contribute to diabetes then coming out about it only when she took a job supporting a diabetes medication. Your point about Anthony Bourdain would only make sense if he made his living promoting unsafe sex, which he does not. While I am not a fan of his, I see his point here.

@Tad it's not that she had to disclose her medical condition, it's the fact that she's selling millions of dollars selling bad food. that's the con. Kudos to Tony Bourdain for saying like it is. Paula Deen is a snake-oil salesman and has a huge following of women that are believing that paula eats the same garbage as they do.

I normally don't say things like this but get a room. It almost sounds like sexual tension. Geeze.

First of all there is something called the Privacy act regarding everyones medical history. If Paula Deen did not want to share her condition with anyone it is no ones business but her own. I haven't seen Paula holding a gun to anyone's head making them cook or eat her food. There is something called free will in the United States so if you don't want to use Paula's recipes don't then. As for Anthony Bourdain, until you release your medical records regarding what sexually transmitted diseases you have contracted I would say leave Paula Deen alone.
