Republican Debate Smackdown: Ron Paul vs. Michele Bachmann

by at . Comments

Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney lead the polls, and Rick Perry may generate the best sound bites ("best" as in most entertaining, if not intelligent), but Ron Paul proved at last night's Republican debate that he's still a force to be reckoned with.

Never one to bend to party orthodoxy, Paul took issue with rival Michele Bachmann's stance toward Iran and its nuclear program, advocating anti-engagement policies that make the Texas Congressman an anathema to many in the GOP, yet wildly popular with others.

Sarah Palin Calls For Impeachment of Barack Obama, Twitter Doubles Over in Laughter

Sarah Palin wants President Barack Obama to be impeached. Twitter users quickly made this the comic relief of the day.

OBMA 2012!! Fired up and ready to win!!!

Just a few short months from Now, Michelle Bachmann's run for president will be a distant memory. Her name in politics will go into trivia along with the category of "Who was Sarah Palin."!!

Bachmann is a panderer. In 2009, she applauded Ron Paul's foreign policy positions during at an event in Minneapolis (look it up). Now, she's pandering to the war-wing of the GOP. Paul is authentic. Bachmann is a fraud.

Ron Paul is the ONLY person running for President that will do what he says and says what he does. He will not change for anyone and we will know where he stands all of the time with the Constitution and liberty for all. We are lucky to have him in the race for the president of the U.S. He is the only one we can trust to protect our freedom and help us regain our prosperity under the rule of law.

Iran isn't targeting the freedoms of Switzerland or Canada. It is our foreign policy that embroil us in these issues. And, if it's ok to assassinate Americans overseas why can't we assassinate a foreign leader and avoid mass casualties?
The conservative wing is a big-government model straight out of the Orwellian "1984" playbook.
Only Ron Paul understands the issues and speaks truthfully.

Since when is it a good idea to go to war. It's always a huge price to pay. Ron Paul is right he just is.
