What I understood is that Rachel believed that she would win the money to help her family. She kept asking her mother, "will it be all right, do you promise?". I never saw her as a brat, believing that she would win for herself, but, rather, to help her family. She is a special kid.
Some of you people are a real joke. When did Rachel ever act like a brat? She is one of the most original, fresh and sweet tempered young ladies. Always polite; not one four letter word from her; and I have YET to hear her talk down anybody. Something a of couple of you could take a few lessons from. Rachel was tired, full of emotion, the tension was very high and continues to be higher. It makes for good tv. Face it. I've seen grownups display more negative emotion on live camera. *And internet on-line* She said, 'you promise(d) it will be o.k? You promised? I think more clearly she was devastated it was over and was vocalizing letting her mother down. Such negativity, over what. Truly only Rachel knows what/why she said, so what's the point of throwing dirt now? Go Rachel! This little lady could market promote just about anything. We shall see. Just surprised you want to leave your names taged to such negative comments.
@John i totally agree with you. Rachel is a little brat and she deserved to be voted off. Give nicole a break and focus on what a stupid brat Rachel was being.
Wow. What a little brat. She totally tried to manipulate Nicole by saying, "it's ok, don't cry nicole". She totally had it in her head that she was going to win the competition. And when she did her "diva" breakdown and her mom came on stage, you can hear her saying, "you promised (I would win)". WHAT A BRAT! The fans decided - and it was a smart choice. STOP HATING ON NICOLE!
