WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO JUDGE OTHERS. IF YOU FEEL ANYTHING FOR THIS FAMILY, PLEASE LET IT BE COMPASSION. OUR PRAYERS ARE WHAT THEY NEED. GOD BLESS ALL OF THE DUGGARS AND ALL WHO CHOSE TO OFFER AN OPINION HERE, WHETHER IT BE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE.

To be fair, I don't think they're on "welfare" per se, and I would never wish a misscarriage on anyone, but I would wish they'd use a little common sense. Her age and the previous problems with the last baby should have been enough to at least make them be careful. God gives us intelligence, and I think He meant for us to use it.

It is sick that people would wish a miscarriage on anyone. It's ridiculous that someone would think it's due to greed that this family would want to have more children. I'm no fan of welfare people continuing to have children so they can remain on welfare, but here's an idea - do some research before you shove your foot into your mouth. I went to the Duggar website and - oh lookit there - they aren't on welfare. They are debt-free, which is something a LOT of people can't say. They support themselves and their children, which is something a LOT of people can't say. I say, bring it on. The more children they bring into the world who are raised with that mindset and those values, the better.

Michelle's getting up there in age now. Something tells me that the couple will keep having children until she is physically unable to have any more. But as a woman gets older, the risks go up, for both mother and baby and the rate of miscarriages and genetic problems will rise as well. Michelle is a 45 year old woman now, and pregnancy is going to be harder on her body. Although it is the Duggar's business whether they have more children or not, it would be a shame to lose this mother or another baby over it. In my opinion, they are blessed with nineteen happy, healthy kids and they should consider now, that the health risks might outweigh benefits.
