Melanie Amaro Makes X Factor Viewers Believe

With the show asking contestants to perform a pair of covers - first, a dance remix; then, a song of their own choosing - the season's favorite took full advantage of her time in the spotlight, mixing up Adele's smash "Someone Like You" and then slowing it down for a version of "When You Believe."
Even LA Reid has to give props for the former, telling Melanie: "The only thing that bothered me about it was that it was really good."
He's just so encouraging, isn't it? Watch both performances now and sound off: How can Amaro not win?!?

Just a friendly advice.. She is in a singing competition vying for $5m...When we first met her i knew she had an accent and so his her mom but it was refined and clear and the came over as an intelligent girl,which i think she is. Now we are hearing this deep Caribbean accent with a combination of broken English...All I am saying is that it is not a smart Her accent is nice but she is making it her main focus...It one thing to have an accent but it another to used it in a manner that folk cant understand you. We all know that she can speak with better clarity..NOT SMART !!....I love Malanie and want her to win but please tone it donw and SING SING SING
Maybe some of u all havent heard about mel background, she is from virgin island and she been back and forth to america. So the reason why she have change her voice sometimes like that, is only when nobody cant understand her. So why do she have to be called a fake, what's up with all that name calling? Some of you just made that u all dont have her talent, so u all have find something about her to pick on, what a bunch of loser's.
