Move over, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves. You aren't the only couple to have gotten engaged on Christmas Day.

Singer John Legend proposed to his model girlfriend, Chrissy Teigen, on Sunday, his rep confirms to People. The event took place while the pair vacationed in the Maldives and here's the best part: she said yes!

It's okay. They're engaged.

Legend - who celebrates a birthday tomorrow - and Teigen started dating in 2007. She has appeared multiple times in Sports Illustrated and he will perform in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve. We wish our very best to the couple!
