Drew Ryniewicz Speaks on X Factor Ousting, Receives Encouragement from Justin Bieber

by at . Comments

Drew Ryniewicz is no longer a contestant on The X Factor. She was surprisingly eliminated last night, following Tuesday's seated cover of "Billie Jean."

But there is a bright side for the 14-year old singer: her musical hero, Justin Bieber, gave Drew a shout-out soon after the results show came to an end.

"@drewryniewicz keep your head up," Justin wrote. "I lost my first competition too. this is just the beginning for u. never say never. best wishes."

On a conference call with reporters this morning, meanwhile, Ryniewicz said she's come to more peace with her elimination than her mentor, Simon Cowell.

“He feels guilty," Drew said. "I don’t think he should feel guilty at all because I got to the top 7. Not everybody can win this show, and he has two girls left representing him.”

Still, the young crooner admits to wishing she could have showed viewers “that side of me that is a teenager who dances around — the fun side. I’m definitely going to do that with my album.”

Overall, Drew refers to The X Factor as "the greatest experience of my life," adding:

"And everyone’s going to be going home, whether they’re the winner or someone else, in the next few weeks. So for me to have made it this far is an honor. For me to be on the first X Factor [in the] U.S.A. and, you know, just to be able to say that I’ve worked with Simon Cowell, and I’m best friends with Melanie and Rachel Crow."

It's certainly not a bad position to be in. We wish Drew all the best.

hi drew or drew fans! i thought that poor excuse of a singer Paula Abdul could of had made a better choice in who to send home. at least she laid of the botox. i thought Nicole would have been on drew`s side. you don`t take out on Simon by sending home drew. what ashame they just dumped away a big opportunity. we love you drew!

drew, if your reading this that`s great! i thought you were completely awesome the whole time you were on the show. i am shy too but you had the courage to do what you had had to do. and i find that truly amazing. you inspire me! :)

What Nicole & Paula did to Drew was just disgusting. What a pair of SKANKS. What they did makes the Kartrashian sisters look like Role Models, and you can't get any worse than that. I was so glad that Astro came in last place so those two and that FREAK LA couldn't save that lil Bastards ass again. LA is such a lying hipacrite, he kept saying how much he liked Drew, but he dogged her from day one. And the reason why was because he knew she was a big threat to Lil Homie, Bastard Astro, and Marcus the Bobby Brown wannabe. Paula has always been a AIRHEAD, but i USED to like Nicole but wouldn't even piss on her now if her face was on fire, which i'd love to see.

Paula and Nicole should both be very ashamed of what they did. They were not voting for the best singer, they were voting against Simon. And they didn't even try to hide what they were doing. Hell, Ray Charles could see that, and Stevie wouldn't have to Wonder.

Welcome to the raw and rudeness of the music industry. Its not pretty. It never has been. Actually, this happens to a dozen or more hopefuls each day in the music industry. 1st, the ego tag. "You are such a great singer" and " You will make a million dollars." Next thing you know, you are sent packing with a simple apology. Those in the music industry look out for themselves and those under contract last. Perhaps, this is the reason why the music industry has contracts and agents. Regarding XFACTOR, who cares who wins. 6 more will be sent packing and the season will be over. The judges will collect their contractual pay which exceeds the prize package and go on to the next contest. I really hate to see these contestants prostitute themselves before the judges, thinking they will be the next SuperStars of Tomorrow. Oh well ... welcome to the rough n raw music industry.....

I can not believe that Paula would vote off Drew ! She has so much potential and talent in her and I think she deserves to win it but not now that she is no longer a piece of The Ex Factor !! :( Drew, You are amazing and its just the fact that you are only 14 years old and you have such a powerful voice like that just proves that you will go somewhere in life with a singing career wether you are on the show or not. Simon shouldn't be guilty. He did an amzing job with you and you represented him well!! :D

Drew, my dear you have an amazing voice and talent. Unfortunately, Simon coached you in a dreadful way. I agree with
you that a more moving allowance should have been made, for example
after the first verse, leading into the second would have been a Perfect time to get off of Simons chair and do want ya like to do! Like I said: Simon blew it. I hope he at least puts you into contact with some respectable industry people. Looking forward to your album! p.s. Loved your ending comment. Jesus does love everyone !

This is for Paula, SHAME ON YOU! For years I have watched you and always thought you was such a sweet and genuine person until you voted Drew off. You done it in such a cold hearted way that I was shocked!!! At least Nicole acted like it bothered her. You showed no regret, no remorse, nothing... just matter of fact, to the point, that was it. It was so obivious to everyone in the world watching it was to show Simon up. And to hurt a child who was standing in front of you crying her eyes out with such malice and with such matter of factness was shocking and has forever changed my opinion of someone I once like and admired. And everyone has always criticized Simon for being so hard?????? He looks like a saint now.

Drew, you have such a unique voice ...i was so disappointed that the judges decided to send you home, and they should have honoured the decision of the public as to who got the lowest number of votes, obviously they knew it was Marcus!

Simon did a masterful job guiding Drew. She would have not done nearly as well with any of the other mentors. Many of us thought Drew was a sure thing and didn’t bother to vote - like me. Drew is a child she will develop her skills in time. xFactor is a wonderful platform to showcase new talent and only represents a beginning for all of its contestants to develop from. Melanie Amaro is stunning - she will take the cake on a show where everyone is the winner.
