Church of Satan on Tim Tebow Success: No Divine Intervention Required!

by at . Comments

God is most definitely NOT a Broncos fan and is NOT helping Tim Tebow engineer fourth quarter comebacks for Denver, according to a rep for The Church of Satan.

Magus Peter H. Gilmore, a high priest in the Church, says if God helps Tim win games, He would be actively making others lose, which makes absolutely no sense.

That being said, the Satanists acknowledge that the extremely religious quarterback may benefit from his faith, which he demonstrates often, in less overt ways.

Tebow and Satan

"Those who have a winning attitude tend to do better," Gilmore concedes.

"Whatever fuels that kind of team spirit, be it religious fervor or simply an overwhelming desire to succeed, that is the real source for success."

Now 6-1 as an NFL starter, the 24-year-old sure has that going for him.

On the flip side, they refute any notion that God is helping the Broncos win: "Satanists are atheists, and we consider any triumph to rely on a combination of skill and luck - most certainly not in any form of supernatural intervention from either Heaven or Hell."

Your take: Is God a Broncos fan?

Lmfao. There is no such thing as a cos because if your satanic than just like how other religions have holy books there's a retarded on for satanic people. But there is only one original book and its not photocopied. Because its lost in the wilderness. So those retards who says they 'satanic' are really retards!!! BTW @Jay if I stand corrected a atheist don't believe in supernatural works or satan or God. So if satanic people do curses and spells how are they atheist. Their just confused people that would rather live a horrible life and spend eternity in pain than to live a good life and spend eternity in paradise!!! Further references the 28 of October is a special day for satanic people on this day they sacrifice snakes to the devil. But atheist believe that no sacrifices no prayers no God or satan so again how does it make satanic/atheist the same??? I suggest you update your knowledge!!!!

haha the church of satan? what a joke...

Veronica, The Church of Satan does not believe in satan as an actual being. Anton Levey uses a blend of Ayn Rand's Objectivism with a good dose of humanism and hedonism. A quick google search on the CoS will show you that they are predominantly atheists and only use satan in name as the hebrew word for "accuser"

@ Jay

Correct! The Church of Satan is a joke religion making fun of other religions.

Um...someone please explain to me how Satanists are Atheists? I'm pretty sure that Satanists believe there is a God but they turn their back on him to follow his enemy. So saying that a Satanist is an Atheist is a complete contradiction. On the other hand to call a Luceferian an Atheist would be right on. Since Luceferians believe that Lucefer wants us to become our own gods and was is teaching us a way to enlightenment. So again....Satanists cannot actually be Athiests......and its shocking when the high priest of the Church of Satan doesn't even understand the definition of an Atheist (one who does not believe in a God/Higher Power).

I can't believe this article. Why is it so bad that Tim Tebow believes in God and everyone must constantly make endless jokes at his expense? He may not be a conventional quarterback but he's getting the job done. Leave the guy alone.
