Ricki Lake Suffers Ego Bruise on Dancing With the Stars
by Free Britney at .Thanks to Nancy Grace, Ricki Lake should advance to next week on Dancing With the Stars without a problem. Still, her confidence took a bit of a hit Monday night.
The front-runner didn't fare too well during her instant jive, earning her lowest score from the judges in weeks. Backstage afterward, she was clearly discouraged.
"Right now, my ego," she said when asked what hurt most.
"I'm just covered in bruises, same old, same old. I don't want to complain," she said, adding "[J.R. Martinez] was amazing. My vote would be with him tonight."
Hard to argue with the talk show host there, given that he scored a perfect 60 out of 60, topping Ricki's tied-for-second 52 by quite a considerable margin.
Lake can take solace in the fact that J.R. had an off week last Monday while she shined, though. As long as she survives tonight's results show, it's a new game.

J.R. is an amazing dancer and deserves to win the mirror ball trophy this year! He has an amazing dance ability, that is natural and fluent. I hope his fans vote for him until the end!!!
I agree that Ricki is the best dancer out of this DWTS group. You don't get to the top of the leader board over and over and receive the first 10's from the Judges without her dancing ablilities. I love to watch her and Derek dance. Their chemistry is unbeatable together. I want her to grab that Mirror Ball Trophy because she deserves it. She has so much emotion in her dances. She gets my votes every week and I'll be rooting for her as well.
I think Ricki is the best dancer out of this DWTS group. Derek & Ricki danced a beautiful waltz and a wonderful jive with one slight problem with the hold at the end, so what! She is proving herself to be a dancer and has become polished and better every week. Keep it up Ricki, you have worked hard and earned the right to be in the finals. Stay in control. listen to Derek and get that mirror ball trophy. At my home we will be rooting for you!
