Ricki Lake on Dancing With the Stars: The Business of Being Awesome!
Each of the six contestants performed two routines on Dancing With the Stars Monday: One with their professional partners, and a team dance with two other couples.
Despite a rib injury, Ricki Lake wowed with both renditions.
She performed two paso dobles: One with partner Derek Hough and another with her team that included soccer champ Hope Solo and reality star Rob Kardashian.
Judge Bruno Tonioli described the group routine as "powerful, moving, and dramatic" and called Lake's dance with her partner "another incredible performance."

What a crock of crap. I've been told that DWTS is rigged and I thought no way. Tonight I saw it happen. First, JR didn't do half of the beautiful moves as Ricki in his walz. Then in the jive he stumbled at his poor attempt at Dereks slide and his shoulders went up and his arms flailed - but to no mention of the judges. Is this pity at its finest. Then there was the feet off the floor AGaIn but to no mention. It was all rah rah for the war victim. I feel sorry for him but not at the cost of a beautiful dancer like Ricki. What a shame to see someone like her screwed out of points. If he wins it will be all because of the military pity thing. Ricki is by far the best dancer and Derek is hands down the best choreographer - hands down. It must be hard for him to put together such brillant routines to lose to the shuffling of another couple. Judge fairly and evenly. Look at difficulty of routine and get over the sympathy thing.
