I think everyone felt at the time that it was no accident, but for someone to come forward with new information 30 years later, because he is promoting his new book,is ridiculous. Personally, I think he should be prosecuted for withholding the truth when it mattered. I've heard him say...I'm saying nothing new, but no one wanted to listen before...and a few minutes later he says...I didn't tell the truth then...so which is it? personally, he has zero credibility in my mind.
Are you kidding me, everyone knew that there was foul play. I think it is time after all these years that they bring Natalie to the light that she deserves. Chris Walken is also part of this. a boat is not that big in any water, your voice carries for miles on the water. Bring on the people that heard someone asking for help and also hold them accountable.
November 29 marks the 30th anniversary of Natalie's mysterious death. "Why now, is because I've been trying to tell information about this for many, many years, but there wasn't really anyone listening until now," Davern explained. "I've been trying to get somebody to listen for a long time, and now somebody is listening, and they're going to carry on with this investigation. I'm not saying anything different. All the information that I've revealed in the past, it's all in that book and now it's just up to the investigators to do an investigation." The former captain of the boat from which Natalie drowned is coming forward with a new claim that her husband, Robert Wagner, was responsible. THIS WHOLE STORY IS INTENDED AS A PROMOTION FOR THE CAPTAIN'S BOOK, "Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour," which he co-wrote last year. Most Americans are really very simple and very gullible!
With all due respect and a 30 year old opinion, I still find it hard to believe that Christopher Walken who was "just" a co-star with Natalie was invited to their yacht on a weekend and he showed up without a date. While Robert and Natalie were supposed to be in marital bliss, it is hard to believe that a husband would go along with his wife's male co-star on a weekend excursion without a lovely young women to share the weekend with. With the reopening of this case, maybe there will be more answers before total closure, and Natalie's family including their adult children will be able get to move on with their lives without the continued clouds of this mystery of 30 years. PEACE!!
