Troubled star Lindsay Lohan will be calling a jail cell home for a bit.

Appearing in court today to face the wrath of Judge Stephanie Sautner, she was sentenced to 30 days behind bars for repeatedly violating her probation.

Hoping for mercy, Lohan admitted she violated probation by not attending therapy and getting kicked out of community service at the Downtown Women’s Center.

The judge was unmoved, so off to jail the train wreck goes … again.

Lindsay Lohan will trade in this polka dot dress for an orange jumpsuit.

Sautner has her on a tight leash to ensure she completes that probation, too – all of her community service must now be done at the L.A. County Morgue.

She must put in more than 30 full days at the morgue between now and March, or else she’ll pay. As the judge put it, Lindsay holds the keys to a jail cell.

Lindsay must adhere to a tight structure or have a warrant put out for her arrest. If that happens, she’ll be serving AN ADDITIONAL 270 DAYS in jail.

As for the 30 days Lindsay got today, Sautner made it clear that there will be none of the house arrest nonsense we saw however. There will be a cell.

The Sheriff’s Dept. says due to overcrowding, she may be let out after serving as little as 20 percent of that sentence, but that’s still six days minimum.

LiLo, who was also told to quit tweeting about life at the morgue, walked out of court saying, “Thank God,” under her breath. It could be a lot worse.
