Elisabeth Hasselbeck vs. Bill Maher: Fight! Fight! Fight!

There was a pretty intense showdown on The View yesterday.

Bill Maher appeared on the program, months after making a crack that the U.S. should have sent Elisabeth Hasselbeck to Egypt in exchange for Lara Logan after that CBS journalist was attacked there in February.

Soon after taking a seat on the couch, and making a statement in defense of women with regard to the Jerry Sandusky mess at Penn State, the comedian was asked by the host about this joke. He explained that he lived "on the edge" and it wasn't personal and his audience is HBO... but Hasselbeck was NOT letting Maher off the hook.

"I actually feel smarter sitting next to you," she said at one point, to which Maher replied: “Really? I feel like I’m in high school sitting next to you.”

    Heavenly days I had no idea so many people disliked Eliz H. She is really stupid and humorless and Babs keeps her because Babs is as racist as liz is even though babs did date (laying down dating a black married man) yet she still is racist and as far as whoopie is concerned she is so busy being politically correct she hardly has time to be racist....Joy is probably the most intelligent ....God bless you whities who use every excuse to hate Pres.Obama because he is half black......particulary the small penis crowd like bill o' and sean the no neck hannity and that man woman ann? and david frum and that other fat ugly white man and that hillbilly idiot congressman who lives in tanning boothe while trying to get more color yet hating people of color from ohio the hillbilly state largest in the country a bunch of idiot poor slobs.....

    I always liked Bill Maher's show Politically Incorrect. He told things the way he saw them, and opened people's eyes to a lot of what was wrong with society. People who shut their eyes and turned their backs on what was wrong with our society. I think he was very honest in his views, and he was entitled to be because it was HIS show. I looked forward to watching him every night when my household was quiet for the night. It made me feel more informed and even a bit smarter.

    Who won the beef? There is no doubt that Elizabeth put in his place this punk. He didn't dare to answer how long ago was when he was in High School. Why didn't he selected the African-American American woman or any other left-wing woman who should had been in place of the raped newswoman in Egypt?
