Nancy grace she shamelessly promotes herself on her own show. Oh yea she is donating proceeds . Well she could just as easily write a personal cheque for the same amount. It's about ego ego ego. The results? Well how about rigged because the alternative does not say much about viewers and voters. And what about Rob Kardashian, why is he even on that show?????? And why is he still there????

No. There is no cash award for winning. The celebrities are paid for their appearances and it is these earnings that Nancy Grace has said she is donating to The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The contestants are paid $125,000 for the first two weeks and then they are paid $20,000 every week there after. If they remain until the ninth week, they receive a bonus of $50,000.
I do think that by a celebrity making a public announcement in advance of the contest of the intention to donate to a charity, the other contestants are disadvantaged IF the judging and voting is in any way legitimate.
Nancy said she would donate he money to a charity (not sure which one) if she won and that helps garner votes. She may be rich but maybe the others need the money since they have no job right now other than DWTS
and I would keep the money myself after all that hard work for weeks and injuries for some.
