Dancing With the Stars Results: Kind of a Shocker!

by at . Comments

After Monday performances that saw Ricki Lake cement her frontrunner status on Dancing With the Stars, the question was who would join her in the final five.

With Lake amassing a huge lead and fan support, J.R. Martinez a virtual lock (no way he's going home after one off week that wasn't even that off) and Rob Kardashian looking increasingly strong each week, it came down to these three contestants ...

  • Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
  • Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus
  • David Arquette and Kym Johnson

Was last night the end of the line for Hope, Nancy, or David?

Hope Solo continues to improve, but not fast enough for the judges' liking (sorry Maks). David Arquette has been good, not great. Nancy Grace? Just bad Monday.

So which one of them got the heave-ho?

Follow the jump to find out here ...

David Arquette, despite a strong run this fall, has been sent home.

Wow. That was not what we saw coming at all, we have to admit it.

David and partner Kym Johnson were ousted from the show, meaning both Nancy Grace and Hope Solo are in the final five on Dancing With the Stars. Wow, again.

Having repaired his image, David handled his ouster with good cheer.

"This whole thing has been incredible, I've loved it," the actor said after the news. "But there must be a mistake, because this is my show. I can't go home!"

Take that, Maksim Chmerkovskiy!

"I'm just kidding! I came here to learn about myself, face my fears, entertain people and give America a chance to get to know me better - and learn to dance!"

He gets all 10s from us on that front. But still, what a surprise. Agree?

Did David Arquette deserve to be voted off Dancing With the Stars?

I love the judges. People are different and like different things - that's always been the way. I just love the dancing of the professionals and Tom the announcer is really good. Brooke is annoying to me, she seems like not a nice person at all. Max is a little full of himself - so what! Personally, I like men w/some balls. Everyone today wants to feminize men. Frankly, I'm sick of it. I couldn't stand watching Chaz I thought he/she was gross. A freak - too bad he/she didn't make the Halloween show. She could have worn a penis costume!

In my opinion, Hope should have been eliminated!! David has worked so hard and made big strides. Most do not like Nancy due to her opinionated show, but she does give it her all and does it gracefully. GO J.R!!!!!!!!!!

HOPE DOES NOT HAVE AN ATTITUDE. MAX IS A DICK AND MAKES HER THE WAY SHE IS. SHE IS REALLY A NICE PERSON,BUT WHEN YOUR MADE TO DANCE WITH AN EGOTISTICAL DICK LIKE MAX,WHAT ELSE CAN SHE DO. HE'S NEVER HAPPY NO MATTER HOW HARD SHE WORKS.

I can't stand the judges - need new ones.

Hope should have gone home a long time ago. SHe has has a bad attitude just like Kendra did last season. They belong together. David Arquette should not have been voted off.

AND MAX IS NOTHING.LOL. HE IS A WONANIZER, HE THINKS HE'S GOD GIFT TO WOMEN.

DON'T YOU ALL KNOW THAT THIS IS A POPULARITY CONTEST NOT A DANCE CONTEST.

UH! NO NANCY SHOULD HAVE GONE HOME. I DON'T LIKE HER NEVER HAVE AND SHE CAN NOT DANCE. SHE HAS NO RYTHEM AND TWO LEFT FEET. I WAS PISSED WHEN CHAZ WAS SENT HOME.HE'S WAY BETTER THEN NANCY EVER WAS.

I cant believe that David was sent home when Hope and Nancy are the worst ones still there.David has done the best improvements over the other two Hope tries but there is no grace with her dancing. She comes out like a bull in a china shop dances to get-r-done and that's it. Nancy does give it her all but she just doesn't have it.

I think nancy grace should have gone this week. I like nancy don't get me wrong. I just think she should have gone before david and kim. and Max and hope need to stay!!!! So, vote vote vote!! derek and ricky rock!!! They are number one in my book with jr in second!!!

Dancing with the Stars Quotes

We should have started dancing with one arm waaay before.

Cristian de la Fuente [following his injury, trip to the hospital and subsequent stellar performance]

I am not the best dancer, and I have not been the best dancer from the beginning. I am happy we made it this far.
