Dana Wilkey is the latest member of the Real Housewives franchise to find herself in a legal mess.
The Beverly Hills socialite and fiance John Flynn are being sued by Mary Painter, a woman who claims they defrauded her out of a $53,000 investment.
Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit alleges Painter invested money in 2008 with Wilkey, Flynn and another man and was guaranteed a 10% return. When this never materialized, Painter claims her attempts to pull her investment out were denied.
She is now suing for breach of contract and fraud and is seeking her initial capital, plus damages. Flynn denies all charges against himself and Wilkey.
