Soulja Boy Arrested For Marijuana Possession
Soulja Boy was arrested Tuesday for marijuana possession, reports say, and the amount of weed (and cash) confiscated from the rapper was not small.
The 21-year-old rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, got popped late last night / early this morning by police officers in Temple, Georgia.
Law enforcement sources say Soulja Boy was in a car with four other men when their ride was originally pulled over for a traffic violation.
During the stop, officers discovered a "substantial amount" of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle. Soulja and the four other idiots were all arrested.
A source with knowledge of the situation says there was roughly $70,000 in cash and drugs in the car. Sounds pretty standard for this moron.
Soulja, who recently came under fire for his anti-Army rap, is still being held in Carrol County Jail and likely faces a number of criminal charges.
Sources say officers also found guns inside the car, though it's unclear if any of the men had proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms.
An investigation is underway. More details to follow.

Wow really, he was stopped because he was black. unbelievable that you would think that. He was stopped because something happened to draw attention to his vehicle, then he was caught with something illegal. Duh... if you dont want to be arrested, dont do something illegal, pretty simple when you think about it.. Doesnt matter who you are, what color you are, where your from. Illegal is illegal and that is why we have jail, for the idiots that cant figure out just dont commit a crime and you get to stay out of jail.

Personally I don't see it as they got arrested because they were black, or see it as they only buy it and think they can get away with it because they are famous. Celebrities are people just like we are, and people make stupid mistakes. It doesn't matter if you are black or white, rich or poor, everyone does stupid and idiotic things. Just like Soulja-boy, who just happens to be black, got arrested for being in possession of marijuana so did a 25 year old who lives down the street from me, and he is white. So it doesn't matter who you are, you break the law, you're gonna get in trouble for it, and that's all there is to it. "you do the crime, you pay the time"
