Lindsay Lohan Cupcake Delivery: Denied By Morgue!
Lindsay Lohan can't go a day of work/community service without incident.
Yesterday, the L.A. County Coroner turned away a guy who was about to deliver 36 fancy cupcakes to Lohan and 35 of her closest friends at the morgue.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter got wind of Lindsay's move, then went to the front door and turned away the delivery guy from the local bakery.
"It's unacceptable. We're not here to accept food," Winter said, adding there are not even 36 people in Lindsay Lohan's community service program.
The order was placed at Magnolia Bakery by someone Lindsay knows.
Lohan later admitted she was the mystery buyer who ordered 36 gourmet cupcakes (and burgers from In-N-Out) to the L.A. County Morgue Friday.
She said it was simply a gesture to apologize and make good after the previous day when she was turned away after showing up late. Says her rep:
"Lindsay's well-intentioned actions were not taken in the spirit in which she intended; to say she was sorry for yesterday's misunderstanding."
To her credit, reports say she really did feel bad about showing up late Thursday and that was her motivate for the cupcakes ... but it's still a morgue.
A cupcake order probably wasn't what Judge Stephanie Sautner had in mind when she ordered Lohan there after her mug shot was taken this week.
Also to her credit, thought she didn't act like a spoiled brat on the job.
She got down on her hands and knees, which must have felt familiar by now, only she cleaned floors and toilets Friday. She also did laundry.
She even socialized with other volunteers. Brings a tear to your eye ...

how about worrying about your own problems and let Lindsay worry about her problems. the laws she is accused of breaking are archaic what about a little support and help as the only person she is accused of hurting is herself.....what a nast bunch of comments

Who really cares about Lindsay Lohan - she is hardly a star or celebrity. She is giving criminals a bad name!! Grow up, give up, or do something worthwhile for the less fortunate. What a waste of space.

I don't quite understand how bringing just enough cupcakes and burgers for herself and friends is an attempt to apologize to the people working/volunteering at the morgue. If her intentions were to apologize to the people volunteering there and wanted to bring them food, why would she invite friends? There would be no cupcakes or burgers left for the people she wanted to apologize to. So basically it's, "Wow, guys. So sorry I was late yesterday. But I bought cupcakes and friends to eat every last one, if that's any consolation." Umm.. LOL. Lindsay always tries to come up with excuses but every excuse has a huge hole in it that she thinks we'll never notice.
If anyone deserves an order of fancy cupcakes and burgers, it's Lindsay's PR team. There's got to be at least 35 people there, too, hmm?

Aside from two or three posters, the rest of you are mean-spirited, jealous, and extremely judgmental. Lindsey was put to work as a child in an industry known to exploit (eat) it’s young. She has obviously been struggling with issues as a young adult, and the entire judicial system in Los Angeles has used her falls from grace to exploit her even further to gain their own slice of notoriety at her expense. Would it kill you all to show some compassion for her?
It may be a morgue, but even employees in morgues eat meals and snacks. For Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter to respond to Ms. Lohan's gesture of apology in such a petty and snarky way was simply pathetic.
The author of this article who referred to Lindsey being used to being on her hands and knees, should consider a different career - journalists with even a modicum of talent do not need to resort to such scummy tactics.

I guess having 3 dozen cupcakes delivered to the morgue was a way for Lilo to try to "liven" the place up. Such an enchanting thought was simply "dead on arrival" in the minds of the powers that be. PEACE!!

Any1 that knows how things go wen compleating a comm servic program knows that the BS lindsay is getting away with is halarious. Any 1else that isn't a celeb wud hav been sent 2do ther jail time. So keep it up lindsay, Let's c how far the law will bend& pretend 4u! Its the law& the 1s in charge that r looking stupid, DO YOUR JOBS!
