Kelly Clarkson has taken a break from singing about love to talk about love, admitting in a new interview: I've never been in it!

"I've never been in love," the artist tells USA Today. "I've never experienced certain things, and I think that's because I have this side of me that is shut off. Because I haven't found anybody yet to open to that I feel like, 'OK, you're worth breaking down that wall for.' I've never found that."

In promotion of her fifth studio album - "Stronger," out today! - Clarkson has been opening up more than usual about her personal life. She recently went on record with her heterosexuality. Still, don't expect any tabloid headlines to spring up any time soon.

"I have no controversy," Kelly says. "You don't see me in rehab, or you don't see me coming out with my hey-haw showing. There's not much to report."

But would Clarkson mind if a magazine could at least report she's truly fallen for someone? It doesn't sound that way, it's just a challenge, given her schedule.

"It's really hard to date when I'm on four different continents in a week," she says. "Even if I do meet a great guy, I ain't ever gonna see him. There's only so much you can do with Skype!"
