Jon & Kate Plus 8 Editor Arrested on Child Porn Charge
William Blankinship, a TV editor who worked on TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8 and other family-oriented reality TV, was arrested last week on child porn charges.
Blankinship, 56, has been charged with 10 counts of sex exploit of a minor, meaning he possessed photos and/or video of a minor engaged in sexual activity.
A subcontractor for Figure 8 Films, Blankenship edited such TLC shows as Jon and Kate Plus 8, its spinoff Kate Plus 8, 17 Kids and Counting and Table for 12.
No bond has been set for the accused; he is likely "under the authority of the U.S. Marshals" until trial, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons said.
His employer wasted no time taking action. "Upon learning of the shocking allegations his employment was terminated," Figure 8 films said in a statement.
Fortunately, Blankinship was never in contact with the famous eight Gosselin kids, the 17 Duggar offspring or any other of TLC's stars, according to reports.
"At no time was this man ever in the field or in direct contact with any of the talent for any of our productions," the network said in its own statement.

The Duggars don't have to worry because they never allowed their kids or themselves to be photographed doing anything personal. You will never find a photo of three or four of their small kids lined up on potties in the driveway as the Gosselins did. You won't see them running naked ready for a bath like the G's did.
Kate G is a greedy money and fame seeking w$ore.

Jon and Kate are both responsible for setting their children up for child exploitation by having them on reality TV for so long. It is the parents' responsibility to protect their children and monitor their environment, not the entertainment business. What fools of parents if they did not see this coming.

Instruct children never to eat any treats until they return home and the treats have been examined under sufficient light by an adult. Check the wrappers of commercial candy for signs of tampering. Wash and cut fruit before eating. Throw away anything unwrapped. Notify the police if there are any suspicious treats.

I can't believe kate would let her kids be around someone like william blankinship, I guess kate had $$$$ on her mind instead of checking out the people her kids were going to be around, I'm sure blankinship being the t.v. editor was introduced to the Gosselin's at one time!! TLC was probably the one that said blankinship wasn't around the gosselins so it wouldn't make their network look bad.. I wonder how much money TLC had to pay kate to keep her mouth shut about meeting william blankinship? remember kate will do anything for money or to be in the spotlight, she's pathetic! kate hides behind her kids using them for her excuse all the time, saying it's all for her kids when actualy it's all about her. Her twitter fans buy it. she loves preying on her fans so they could say good things about her to make her look good, then under her breath she's probably laughing at them. she lies so much and got cought lying on national t.v. saying a bunch of lies about jon not paying child support

Has it even crossed kates mind that she is puting her 8 kids in danger by exposing them on t.v. twitter and her web site, she's letting the world know everything about her 8 kids, what they do, where they go, what they eat!! I don't think kate is a very responsible parent!! all kate cares about is her appearance, attention, and how much money she could make off her kids, she's putting herself before her kids and putting her 8 kids in danger!! I think jon is a lot more responsible than kate.. kate needs to get a real life, a real job and spend more time with her kids and less time on twitter, hello kate your a mother of 8 kids your not 20 anymore your almost 40!! quit trying to be someone your not.

He got to edit film of the kids when they were naked, scary. I remember on Jon & Kate episodes where the kids were getting bathed. He probably loved it. What a sicko, hope they get him in prison.
