Dancing With the Stars Results Surprise: Who Got the (Undeserved) Chop?!

by at . Comments

With Chaz Bono in last place for the second consecutive week on Dancing With the Stars, and by a large margin no less, we thought his run on the show was over.

We thought wrong.

Chaz and Lacey Schwimmer ended up with the lowest score of the week Monday - 18 points - well behind the next lowest stars, Carson Kressley and Nancy Grace.

When the audience's votes were factored in along with the scores, the show's first transgendered contestant was spared. But what about those other two?

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas
Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya

Carson Kressley was in fact in the bottom three, but he was there along with the beautiful-but-boring Kristin Cavallari and Hope Solo, not Nancy Grace.

That's DWTS for you. Week after week, it's anyone's game. So who got the axe among these three competitors when the week's results were unveiled?

Follow the jump to find out ...

Kristin Cavallari, despite a solid score of 24 that tied for third place Monday, couldn't muster the votes to stay. Is America just not a fan of her or
The Hills?

"This is truly crazy," head judge Len Goodman said of the Dancing With the Stars results, which prompted some booing in the audience. "It's just madness."

"I'm a little surprised to be honest but I've had such a great time and it's been an awesome experience," said Kristin, who was cheered on by Jay Cutler.

"I was really proud of Kristin," her partner Mark Ballas said. "She had great potential and she absolutely killed it last night. I'm honored to be her partner."

Do you agree with Kristin's elimination? It is, after all, America's call. The scores do carry weight, but only partially. She didn't close the deal with voters.

Did Kristin Cavallari deserve to be voted off DWTS?

This is the most absurd thing that I have ever seen. I have watched this program from the beginning and there have been several questionable calls in the past to popularity, in my opinion. But, this show has become totally bogus. It has no sincerity for dancing or competition, hard work, or anything. Only a popularity contest for the greed of the shows viewer rating. This might as well be a WWF wrestling TV program and the viewers get to overturn the winner because they "like" the other guy. Just a stupid program and I'm done with this.

I wanted to cry last night, when at the beginning of the show, Chaz was declared "safe" to dance again. I use the term dance, even though what he is doing can't be considered dancing. I am so very dissapointed that the Producers of the show have elected to provide a format for his personal views on transgender, without any regard to maintaining the quality and high standards of the show. The show is called "Dancing with the Stars", but Chaz is not a star or a dancer. Being the son (or daughter) of famour parents does not make him a star. Last season was bad enough when Sarah Palin was put on the show because of her famous mother, this is outrageous. Chaz Bono needs to go.

Give Chaz a chance, you can see from his face that he is trying.
Maybe if his Mom was looking on, he would try even harder...

Mark and Kristin showed too much PDA outside the dance studio for weeks. Rumors were that Mark dumped Pia for Kristin. Did Pia's fans vote for Chaz? LOL KARMA!!!

My favourite program is going down the tubes. I agree with all of the above. However, the most objectionable thing that happened was to actually "announce" on the program that if Chaz is allowed to stay on the program for one more week that Cher has said she will be in the audience. If Chaz is there one more week, they have lost me and many of my friends as part of their audience. He never moves his feet and his mother's popularity should not be responsible for his staying on the show over talented performers as certainly happened this week. I am disgusted.

This is no longer a dignified show!!!!! Use to enjoy the quality, but now it has developed the macabre. No longer watching. Dancing ability is not necessary nor is improvement....

The results of last night Dancing with the Stars was totally unfair. This show should be rated not by popularity but how competent you are on the dancing floor. I am very disappointed by the producers allowing this to happen. This week's show is going to lose a lot of viewers for sure. Stop showing favoritism and pay attention to real dancers.

I thought this show was about dancing talent, evidently not. The judges scores should account for more than they do (not much). You have lost two regular viewers of this show.

DWTS has lost its class! Chaz is not a star and neither was Crystal Palin when she was on the show. This is Dancing With The Stars producers! This show was once classy and has fallen to the wayside. To still have the he/she thing on the show is wrong and to vote Kristin off is totally wrong. I thought she would be the winner and she still is a winner in my eyes. She was graceful, beautiful and a wonderful dancer. Voters this is a dance show, so stop using it for political views!!!!

I agree with all of the above. I have watched this show from the beginning, & have been disappointed a few times with the talents that have prematurely exited because of lesser talents & more publicity.I was very saddened by the results last nite. The rules need to be changed or there will no longer be a DWTS. Many of us are disgusted that the dancing talents are overlooked above the popularity votes.I am not excited about watching the show anymore, & will not vote, because it doesn't matter.

Dancing with the Stars Quotes

We should have started dancing with one arm waaay before.

I am not the best dancer, and I have not been the best dancer from the beginning. I am happy we made it this far.
