Dancing With the Stars Results Surprise: Who Got the (Undeserved) Chop?!

by at . Comments

With Chaz Bono in last place for the second consecutive week on Dancing With the Stars, and by a large margin no less, we thought his run on the show was over.

We thought wrong.

Chaz and Lacey Schwimmer ended up with the lowest score of the week Monday - 18 points - well behind the next lowest stars, Carson Kressley and Nancy Grace.

When the audience's votes were factored in along with the scores, the show's first transgendered contestant was spared. But what about those other two?

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas
Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya

Carson Kressley was in fact in the bottom three, but he was there along with the beautiful-but-boring Kristin Cavallari and Hope Solo, not Nancy Grace.

That's DWTS for you. Week after week, it's anyone's game. So who got the axe among these three competitors when the week's results were unveiled?

Follow the jump to find out ...

Kristin Cavallari, despite a solid score of 24 that tied for third place Monday, couldn't muster the votes to stay. Is America just not a fan of her or
The Hills?

"This is truly crazy," head judge Len Goodman said of the Dancing With the Stars results, which prompted some booing in the audience. "It's just madness."

"I'm a little surprised to be honest but I've had such a great time and it's been an awesome experience," said Kristin, who was cheered on by Jay Cutler.

"I was really proud of Kristin," her partner Mark Ballas said. "She had great potential and she absolutely killed it last night. I'm honored to be her partner."

Do you agree with Kristin's elimination? It is, after all, America's call. The scores do carry weight, but only partially. She didn't close the deal with voters.

Did Kristin Cavallari deserve to be voted off DWTS?

Well this does it. After watching this show since its been on, no more. Wife agrees, we will go to x-Factor. This not a competiton any more just a computer vote scandel.

my last time to watch dancing with the stars. you can figure out why.

I am VERY disillusioned with the entire show....it isn't a dance competition but a popularity contest or a show trying to get good ratings...I lost interest in this show because what good does it do for someone to dance their heart out and be eliminated.....Keep "Names" on who can barely WALK let alone dance it is WHO you are NOT what you can do on a Dance Show.....it is all for ratings!! Too bad I use to enjoy the dancing.....

Oh, did Chaz dance? I saw him walking around. I guess that's what America likes. No dancing, just walking. Hmmm. The show should change its name to Waling With America! Stopped watching after the first elimination.

Ok you had Jennifer Gray on,, and she was awesome, now its time to have an outstanding guy on the show. How about John Travolta? Now, he is someone to watch. Bring the ratings up, after this years cast, your going to need someone that will bring the audience back.

DWTS is nothing but a popularity contest depending on which dancing guest has the most friends! I've been watching some since the show started but am geting thoroughly disgusted with it now. Pure phony. Chaz can NOT dance but they'll keep him on because of all the publicity he generates--same for Arquette (Courtney Cox's "x")and Rob K. The producers will keep Chaz on forever since his mom may appear from time to time as will a Kardashian. And I cannot understand those judges' scores--too high for most of the dancers. And even though I respect and admire J.R., the judges overdid themselves on his "tell a story" dance. Please keep Karsan--he is the only one who brings laughs!!!

I was totally apalled last night when the freak show "it" was allowed to continue to next week just because "it" has a famous mother and someone as talented as Kristin or anyone besides "it" should have been voted back. This is not a talent competition but a showcase for occasional freaks and "its". Every show there seems to be one who has no business on the program dancing. This time its that "it" thing, or whatever it chooses to call itself these days.

Nothing really surprises me anymore but this time I really was because it is not fair they all work hard but just because the mother of certain person is well known doesn't mean the girl/boy should stay that is just not fair at all.

DWTS is a fun show! Nothing to be taken too seriously. And we "simple folk" of Camelot(U.S.) get to vote..keeps the masses happy and included!!

Carol worth

I, for one, was quite happy for Chaz! He is improving and that's what the show is all about! It's always sad to see anyone go, but that's the way the show is. People vote for various reasons. So, enjoy the show or turn it off.

Dancing with the Stars Quotes

We should have started dancing with one arm waaay before.

Cristian de la Fuente [following his injury, trip to the hospital and subsequent stellar performance]

I am not the best dancer, and I have not been the best dancer from the beginning. I am happy we made it this far.
