Dancing With the Stars Results Surprise: Who Got the (Undeserved) Chop?!

by at . Comments

With Chaz Bono in last place for the second consecutive week on Dancing With the Stars, and by a large margin no less, we thought his run on the show was over.

We thought wrong.

Chaz and Lacey Schwimmer ended up with the lowest score of the week Monday - 18 points - well behind the next lowest stars, Carson Kressley and Nancy Grace.

When the audience's votes were factored in along with the scores, the show's first transgendered contestant was spared. But what about those other two?

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas
Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya

Carson Kressley was in fact in the bottom three, but he was there along with the beautiful-but-boring Kristin Cavallari and Hope Solo, not Nancy Grace.

That's DWTS for you. Week after week, it's anyone's game. So who got the axe among these three competitors when the week's results were unveiled?

Follow the jump to find out ...

Kristin Cavallari, despite a solid score of 24 that tied for third place Monday, couldn't muster the votes to stay. Is America just not a fan of her or
The Hills?

"This is truly crazy," head judge Len Goodman said of the Dancing With the Stars results, which prompted some booing in the audience. "It's just madness."

"I'm a little surprised to be honest but I've had such a great time and it's been an awesome experience," said Kristin, who was cheered on by Jay Cutler.

"I was really proud of Kristin," her partner Mark Ballas said. "She had great potential and she absolutely killed it last night. I'm honored to be her partner."

Do you agree with Kristin's elimination? It is, after all, America's call. The scores do carry weight, but only partially. She didn't close the deal with voters.

Did Kristin Cavallari deserve to be voted off DWTS?

Agree with Catherine. Kristen really was not a good dancer.

Maybe Cher can haul Chaz off on Wednesday night for good. Then maybe we can get back to serious voting. Shove your lifestyle on someone else.

I am very disappointed in the show this year. Last night was a perfect example of the public voting, not taking in consideration that this show is a dancing competition not a popularity contest. How could anyone vote off the dancer with the good score and not vote off the person who can barely dance? I,m not sure I will continue to watch the show on Monday nights anymore. What a farce!!!

this show is so lame.

I have watched the show since it started and could not wait for each new season. This is the worst bunch of dancers I have ever seen. The audiance needs to be a very small part of the voting. Most don't know what they are watching and it is popularity not ability. People! It's a dance competition. I will watch next season if they get rid of Lacey Schwimmer and stop bring all the attention seeking freaks on the show. Everybody I talk to at work and neighbors feel the same way I do. DWTS won't have the ratings if they don't change the parameters.

wrong. should be different judging, and please while you re changing things. get rid of brooke burke. we need some personality, not just a pretty package. boring..show needs stepping up or will lose audience.

i have watched the show ever since it began. i will watch for the last time this season tuesday night, when julianne hough performs. it is bad enough to watch a he/she dance with a female dancer. but it would be more tolerable if chaz 'he/she' could dance. worst season ever.

Kristen wasnt that good.
The tassles faked it.

There was a time when I couldn't wait for the next season of DWTS to start. Now I forget to turn it on. It's defintely not near as good as it use to be. Soooooo Sad :(

I truly believe the fans should only be counted for 25% of the votes. As you can see, its not who dances the best but instead who
might be more popular. Lets face it the one's been let go are the
good dancer's, even the judges mentioned it last night. The rules
must be changed. As one can see Nancy Grace has her own show and
ask for people to vote for her, how fair is that to the ones that
don't have that opportunity.

Dancing with the Stars Quotes

We should have started dancing with one arm waaay before.

Cristian de la Fuente [following his injury, trip to the hospital and subsequent stellar performance]

I am not the best dancer, and I have not been the best dancer from the beginning. I am happy we made it this far.
