Amanda Knox Pleads For Freedom to Jury
Four years after she was arrested on suspicion of having killed her roommate in Italy, American Amanda Knox pleaded for a jury to overturn the conviction.
"People always ask who is Amanda Knox? I am the same person I was four years ago. But I have lost a friend. I have lost my faith in Italian police," she said.
"I am paying with my life for something I have not done. Four years ago I didn't know what suffering was," she added, delivering her statement in Italian.
"I did not kill. I did not rape. I did not steal. I was not there."
In her second trial, Knox and co-defendant Raffaele Sollecito are fighting to be acquitted of the murder of Meredith Kercher. They were convicted in 2009.
Prosecutors, meanwhile, have called for their sentences - of 26 and 25 years, respectively - to be increased to life. Two judges and six jurors will decide.
Amanda Knox's appeal has focused largely on DNA evidence found on a knife and on a bra clasp belonging to the victim. They argue it's not enough.
Closing arguments was Knox called "Lucifer-like, demonic and Satanic," but her defense says that like Jessica Rabbit, she's not bad, just "drawn that way."

I wonder if she'll ever tell more of the story now that she's free and safe in the US?
And how much will Hef offer her for a spread? Or should I say how much did he offer since I'm sure he's already contacted her. I'm guessing 250k...
Then there will be the book followed by the movie, $o $he's $et for life. I'm curious who will play her and how they will show the murder.

LINA, RUDY DID IT, his DNA was everywhere and he confessed. First he said he was there but a stranger came in and did it. He changed his story later when heard about Amanda being accused though there was no DNA He and said she was there too. They lowered his jail time.

You are not God. You are not nice or clearly not smart! She was not there. She is not Casey and it has nothing to do with her. Two wrongs don't make a right. The murderer is in jail already. Being pretty was her crime.
