The Fall of Sam Poueu: What Happened?
by Hilton Hater at .On September 3, Sam Poueu was rushed to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a dangerous fall. But what actually happened to the former Biggest Loser contestant was a mystery.
Until now.
Poueu's family has released a statement to People that says the accident took place at a birthday celebration in San Francisco. The former reality star was stuck on a rooftop after a door locked behind him and...
He "attempted to climb down the fire escape ladder to drop down into the fourth floor balcony and slipped. The San Francisco Fire Department responded within minutes thanks to a neighbor's immediate call."
Poueu, who is engaged to another former Biggest Loser contestant, Stephanie Anderson, has undergone three surgeries so far and is on "the healing mend," his family says, adding a thank-you to fans, along with the following note:"He still has a long road ahead and is already a true testament to the power of prayer. Our faith remains that God will heal him completely according to His will. We are thankful for the miracles we have already witnessed in his recovery and are thankful for the dedicated medical personnel attending to him."

Sam, I know you might not read this but if you do i would like to let you know that you are an incredible person and that you are a huge insperation. I was devestated when i read this and hope for the best recovery possible. My heart goes out to you and your family.
Today I just saw the recording from the thanksgiving show and so sad to learn what happen to Sam! I watch the whole season when u and ur cousin competed and just want to let u know that u were such of inspiration to me! I have no doubt that u will get through this! My prayers are with u!
Sam, my husband and I loved you and your cousin on biggest loser. We really hope you get better! I even cried when you left the show. Haha. You are a huge inspiration and I know this is just one more hurtle you have to jump. Lots of love and prayers!
Sam, When I watched you season on The Biggest Loser you were a huge inspiration to me. The strength, drive and ambition you had has motivated me.
