Taylor Armstrong Details Alleged Abuse in New Interview
Taylor Armstrong stands accused of forging photos that allegedly depict her battered face following a beating by Russell Armstrong.
But the reality star stands by her accusations in an explosive interview that airs this evening on Entertainment Tonight. In it, she goes into detail regarding specific instances of abuse, saying of her late, troubled husband:
"He grabbed me by the neck and shoved me up against the wall, and he said, 'If you ever make my children a pizza without a vegetable again, I'll kill you.'"
Aware of how some may view the publicizing of abuse from a man who isn't around to defend himself - and with whom she shares a five-year old daughter - Taylor says:
"He doesn't need my protection anymore, but there are a lot of women in this world who probably do," she said, subsequently taking us inside her petrified mindset:
"You live your life constantly on egg shells waiting for the other shoe to drop. You don't know if you're gonna talk to your girlfriend too long at dinner, and that's going to cause someone to fly into a rage... I don't think he saw himself as an abuser until the last time that he hurt me, when I finally ended our relationship."
And a few weeks later, of course, Russell killed himself. How did Taylor break the news to her child?
"I just told her that daddy got sick and he died, and that we could pick a star in the sky to be daddy, and she could talk to him every night."

People have no idea how rare it is that someone would "claim" abuse that isn't true. Being someone who experienced it myself I can tell you that I am a strong and independent woman who never imagined I would be in a situation like Taylor and you never know how you'll react until you are. I can understand the skepticism from those who've never experienced it but I can also assure you that I saw it from day one when I watched the show. It gave me chills to watch his behavior as it gave me flashbacks and I knew something was "off". People who committ suicide rarely do it because of what someone has done to THEM, they do it because they can't live with some aspect of themselves.... if he was afraid of what was going to be shown on the show, it's because he was afraid they were going to show footage of what they had filmed, not stuff they made up....just think about it. And it's not disrespectful to talk about the truth of what someone did when they were alive after their death; we discuss

I believe her. she went through hell and he couldn't stand the thought of not having her so he killed himself. If you watch the first season you will notice how controlling he was and you could see the terror in her eyes. Stop bashing her. If you have never lived through abuse or grew up watching it then you would not know what to look for. IF SHE MAKES MONEY OFF IT THEN LET HER SHE DESERVES IT AND NEEDS TO SUPPORT HER DAUGHTER.

I don't believe he physically abused her according to the pictures shown of her. No doubt they had lots of arguments because he was financially hurting. I would say those pictures are of cosmetic surgery. He should have kicked her butt when she blew 50k on their daughter's birthday. She is milking this for all she can get because Russell is not there to defend himself. Without all this publicity and the money she will receive, she would have to deflate her fish lips, give up her style of living and apply for a job at WalMarts.....LOL

One thing that No one can accuse Taylor Armstrong of, and that is playing the part of the "grieving widow". Regardless of the fact that she and her "late husband" shared a 5 year old daughter, life goes on for Taylor. She is Now forever free to play the role of victim on behalf of other women, when in reality everything is Taylor made and all about her. So soon after her husband's death, she is being "rewarded" on a story about domestic violence which cheapens the seriousness of this very worthwhile topic that Need a face to represent true victims and the shelters, and counseling that are available to help them when they feel beaten and hopeless. If Taylor Armstrong was living on edge as a battered woman, she did a real disservice by living the good life on TV while suffering in silence as an abused spouse. If she is receiving payment for interviews about past abuse at the hands of her late husband, and in turn, Not be readily available to reach out to others in crisis, it will only s

She should be ashamed of herself! How fucking disrespectful to do that to her children. I hope she's making alot of money off these photos and interviews because she'll have nothing else in a few years. If her kids will stay away from her if they know what's good for them!
A horrible and miserable human being.

Did he keep her locked in a cage? I mean, I feel bad that she was abused but she wasn't being held captive by the man. It's hard to feel completely sorry for her when she should have left him the first time.

again, im not a big Taylor fan, but i do beleive her story. & i beleive that Bravo has even more proof. If Russell's lawyer decides 2 go further n suing Taylor(4 wutever reasons), then he will definitely not get 2 far. Ppl say she's sellin the pics 4 $$, but she has 2 move on & make a living 4 herself& her child!! Ppl make $$ every day( the best or fastest way they can). Thats none of my biz, but i kno im gonna make sure my kids eat, & she's talk'n a "reality/everyday subject". This sh*t happens all the time & i personally kno women that r afraid 2 leave their partner, let alone, talk about it.
