these so called educated people seem to have everything mixed up. Firstly I praise anyone that is going through what Chaz is going through. These changes are not taken lightly. So I applaude Chaz. Secondly give children more credit, just because they see a transgender person dancing will NOT make them want to be one themselves. If there is a child out there that doesnt feel like they belong in the body that they have then Chaz being on TV may help them find a voice. I wont even be watching this show unfortunately as I live in Australia but will check on You tube to see how everyone is doing.
Dr. Ablow, you are very uneducated about transgender people. It is sad that there are ignorant psychiatrists like you still around. I suggest you read some books on and educate yourself or contact some knowledgeable professionals on the subject. What other type of individuals born with birth defects do you attack and ridicule?
