These Us Weekly pics certainly look like the Fashion Star mentor got breast implants this summer, which the celebrity news publication asserts.
"In the past, she said she wanted a breast lift, though we never thought she was serious," a source says of Richie, who apparently reconsidered.
Still, "she's been open about it to friends," notes the first insider.
Richie flaunted her fuller physique while vacationing with pals in Mexico September 24 - a stark contrast to the flat-chested bikini photos we're used to.
A second source adds that the celebrity fashion designer wanted to improve her bustline for a very simple reason - for her husband Joel Madden.
"The pregnancies took a toll," said the source, conjuring up images you may not want. "She said breast-feeding killed what boobs she did have!"

First I read how Tamra Barney initially had implants put in for her boy-friend, now I read that Nicole Ritchie is doing the same, for a man. There are some deep-rooted insecurities in both these women if they feel having breasts will make them a woman. PS- @Jaan Black- I have given birth to two children and I do not have a stretch mark on any part of my body, saggy boobs or a displaced belly button and I am 48. I also know a lot of other women who faired quite well. It's fine not to want children but not all woman turn out that way. Genetics plays a big part but so does taking care of ones self, before, during and after pregnancy. look like that after giving childbirth.

kids in general aren't my thing and I read about the saggy boobs, stretch marks, displaced belly buttons and stomachs that look like Freddy Kruger's face (after birth) and I cringe..yes, of course all of you moms will say "it's sooo worth it"; I'm sure
