Amy Winehouse Would Have Been 28 Today
by Free Britney at .Today is Amy Winehouse's 28th birthday.
Alas, the singer - like Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain - never made it past 27. She tragically died in her London flat back in July.
On this occasion, we reflect on a star whose flame burned out far too soon, a victim of her addictions and certain nameless individuals who fed them.
R.I.P. Amy Winehouse (1983-2011).
While we would just as soon forget BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL, Amy's musical legacy lives on. She transformed British music and influenced countless artists.

my fav song by heris rehab but how did she die?
I loved her music and for the one who had a hard time with the compare to janice joplin... if you are old enough to remember joplin had her own drug fueled antics herself and also was made fun of.
Let's not be hypocrites. Before this woman died everyone made fun of her drug fueled antics and now that she is dead she is being compared to Janis Joplin?!? Let me say it like it is. This woman dug her own grave and sure she had "enablers" but birds of the same feather flock together. While she was alive I thought she and her music were garbage. Still do and just because she messed up and died (from being sober, which makes zero sense) Iam not changing my opinion.
