There are actually a lot of contemporary dance companies out there that employ the atypical-bodied dancers. I am one myself. I wasn't born with the long and lean body that has been the traditional dancer, but am no less talented. Even if there wasn't though, you can't say she has no future because that's what trailblazers are all about and who's to say she isn't one.

I am not talking about being anorexic, I am talking about being in shape. She does not look good as a dancer even though she dances well. She looks like an athlete and my question is: where she can possibly dance? She cannot be a backdancer in the Lady Gaga show like Mark is. She cannot be a classical ballet dancer because she is too heavy. Where do you see her?
Melanie was my favorite from the beginning. She is a very graceful beautiful dancer. Nothing wrong with being thick hips Elena just gives her more strength and power in those legs. Better than being anorexic like some people feel they need to be. Way to go Melanie! I see you doing very well in your future.
