Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally: Married!
by Free Britney at .Move over, Joy Behar and Steve Janowitz. You've got company. Her View co-host Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally also tied the knot this weekend!
Sherri and Lamar tied the knot at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago, her hometown, on Saturday. Her 6-year-old son Jeffrey walked her down the aisle.
Shepherd's eight bridesmaids included another View co-host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, plus Niecy Nash and Community star Yvette Nicole Brown.
Sherri pretty much Tweeted until she walked down the aisle, writing yesterday, "Sitting in the room in my gown waiting for Sal& groomsmen to take their pics... can't let him see me b4 the wedding... but I'm bored as heck."
The, right before the ceremony she Tweeted: "What happens when you are in your wedding dress and you have to tinkle? Uh-oh!"
Indeed. Congratulations to Sherri and Lamar!

A bunch of hens sitting on The View or The Talk yacking and no one likes each other is phony to me. Dont ever watch...I got 4 sisters if I wanted that yack it up!!
Congrats to Sherri and Lamar!! May u have a blessed marriage this time around. To Joy, u had a chance to marry Steve over 20 yrs. ago and waited to the same weekend as Sherri,Shame,Shame,Shame on U!!
I wonder if Joy would have done what appears to be such a wicked deed to Sherry had Sherry been white?? Do I detect racism on Joy's part?
I am very happy for Sherri and husband Lamar. I wish them the absolute best. As for Joy, I think she is so lacking in self- esteem. First, she wears black all the time which means she lacks confidence concerning her figure. Second, she secretly marries two days before Sherri knowing Sherri's wedding had been in the works for months. Stealing Sherri's thunder. Shame on you Joy!
Who cares? Thank heaven so few people took the time to comment on these weddings; that is, at least, encouraging. I worry when what's going on with the "ladies of THE VIEW" is a topic for the news or other TV commentary. Frankly, it's scary to think that "fans" place such value in the opinions of a few ordinary women who earn megabucks sitting around talking to one another. Absent Barbara Walters, the panel is largely uninformed and unqualified to earn my vote of confidence for their baseless opinions. But then, consider the fan base--most likely people who are at home every day & take them seriously, preferring to get what they think is "news" with a slant from an entertainment venue rather than a relevant and informed broadcast.
