While her sister Beyonce was revealing her pregnancy, Solange Knowles made headlines for less positive reasons in Miami, Fla., on Sunday night.

According to reports, Solange and her crew were rejected from a club because they had a balloon, which they decided to cross the street to pop.

Yes, this happened ... and resulted in a run-in with the cops.

There they encountered two off duty police officers, and a conversation ensued, which was "casual and light-hearted" at first. Then it went bad.

Apparently, the authorities were not enthralled about Solange being there, or about the balloon, which they brandished a weapon to destroy.

Police say Solange was "armed" with a "five-foot inflatable banana."

Are they misunderstood, grieving grandparents? Gold-digging weirdos? It's unclear to say the least. Perhaps Dr. Phil can figure out George and Cindy Anthony.

The September 12 season premiere of the Dr. Phil Show will find Phil sitting across from the parents of America's most hated individual, Casey Anthony.

The Anthonys will discuss their daughter's trial, during which they both testified, what their lives are like now, and finally the million-dollar question:

Sunday's telecast of the MTV Video Music Awards set a record with 12.4 million viewers, the largest audience ever for the network, according to reports.

The previous high was set by ... the previous week's Jersey Shore.

The VMAs, a celebrity gossip bonanza and the one night every year that the network that once revolutionized music pretends to still care about it, were up nine percent in total viewers from last year. It was the top cable telecast of the year so far.

Among the many highlights? A rare Britney Spears appearance, Beyonce's pregnancy announcement, The Hunger Games trailer and Gaga's male alter ego.

No word if Jo Calderone will be asked to host next year's event.

Angelina Jolie wants to clear up a few rumors about herself. Or all of them.

"I'm not pregnant. I'm not adopting a child at the moment," the actress tells Vanity Fair in its October issue, adding that there is no "secret wedding" either.

Weak.

We kid, mostly, but with her upcoming film, In the Land of Blood and Honey, which she wrote and directed, she's got a lot going on these days.

Without her six kids to keep her occupied, the first-time director says she penned the script to avoid going stir-crazy while battling the flu.

"I had to be quarantined from the children for two days," Jolie says. "I was in the attic of a house in France. I was isolated, pacing. I don't watch TV and I wasn't reading. So I started writing. I went from the beginning to the end."

Pitt has been "so supportive" throughout the project.

Beyonce is pregnant, but that isn't about to stop the singing sensation from paying respects to the late Michael Jackson October 8 in Wales.

She'll perform live at his tribute concert then ... via satellite.

Reps for the controversial concert have confirmed that Beyonce is still slated to sing, saying the "pregnancy will not affect her performance."

Beyonce is rumored to be nearing the four-month mark in her pregnancy.

If that's true, she'll be around 5-6 months along when she performs her favorite Jackson 5 song for the concert honoring the late King of Pop.

They say women who were physically active before pregnancy should be good to continue with moderate exercise throughout the pregnancy.

Most women aren't powerhouse performers like Beyonce Knowles, though ... nor are they carrying possibly the most talented fetus of all time.

Here's hoping she continues to remain in perfect health!

The Cleveland party bus driver who claims Matthew Fox assaulted her is not backing away from the allegations. In fact, she's definitely pressing charges.

Heather Bormann says Fox "smelled like a bar" and was likely drunk when she warned him several times to stop trying to get on the party bus Saturday.

But, says Bormann, the Lost actor was undeterred, and "just stepped in for a right hook to my pelvis area and started wailing on me like I was a man."

The chick Matthew Fox allegedly Lost it on.

Heather says she fought back in self-defense, landing a left to Matt's jaw at one point and showed off what she says are her battle scars in Cleveland.

Sporting some nasty bruises and a bandaged-up hand, she was definitely in altercation with someone or something, whatever happened with Fox.

Bormann plans to meet with prosecutors today to press charges.

Former NBA player Javaris Crittenton has been arrested on murder charges.

The fugitive from justice was trying to board an airplane in Orange County, Calif. Crittenton had checked in for a flight to Atlanta Monday night, where his lawyer said he was going to surrender in the murder case against him.

He was taken into custody and booked at an L.A. police station.

A wanted man by the FBI, he was booked on suspicion of being a fugitive from justice, a bureau source has confirmed to the Washington Post.

Javaris, who played for the Washington Wizards and was the other player involved in the Gilbert Arenas gun incident, allegedly killed Julian Jones.

Cops believe Crittenton was not aiming at Jones but rather someone else in the area who may have robbed the former basketball player in April.

Dr. Conrad Murray took a walloping in court Monday after the judge threw out potentially key components of the embattled physician's case that he is not guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

First, Judge Michael Pastor ruled that Jackson's personal history, including all references to child molestation, will not be permitted during Murray's trial.

Then, he determined that Jackson's dermatologist and longtime friend, Dr. Arnold Klein, won't be allowed to testify when Murray is tried next month.

Pastor stated that Dr. Klein's role in MJ's care isn't relevant, and that it could confuse the jury, as could unrelated testimony about MJ's personal life.

It's the ruling on Klein that dealt the most serious blow to Murray's defense, since the physician hoped to deflect blame onto others who treated the star.

Murray's lawyers were planning on asking Dr. Arnold Klein about the Demerol that he allegedly prescribed to Michael Jackson in the days before he died.

Madame Tussauds has done it again.

The famed wax museum unveiled its latest replica Monday in Berlin, Germany, one so realistic you might actually be fooled were it not for the Madame's logo behind it.

That and the outdated hairstyle.

If there's any flaw in the wax figure of 23-year-old Rihanna, it's the older hair. Although, to be fair, the hair - along with the purple unitard, pink thigh-highs and red pumps - are featured in her video for "Who's That Chick?"

Britney Spears' new single will be downright criminal.

Literally. That's the name of the track. The 29-year-old pop princess revealed the exciting news backstage at the 2011 MTV VMAs, telling the network, “The song is… really different and it’s nothing [like what] I’ve heard before!”

“I really wanted to deliver the song and I was thinking of a really cool concept for the video just to make it interesting,” said the 29-year-old, who was the recipient of a special VMA tribute and some high praise from Lady Gaga.
