Miranda Cosgrove Breaks Ankle in Tour Bus Accident
by Hilton Hater at .Miranda Cosgrove has been forced to suspend her current tour, but the young singer has a valid excuse: she broke her ankle this morning when her tour bus slammed into a tractor-trailer in Illnois.
The artist was in route from Ohio to Kansas for a show tomorrow evening. Explains her rep:
"Miranda Cosgrove's tour bus was involved in an accident early this morning in Illinois on I-70, just outside of Vandalia. There were 5 passengers on the bus, and Miranda suffered a broken ankle. At this time, we are told everyone will be fine."
Local reports indicate that the tractor-trailer was already overturned when the bus hit it; a piece of the vehicle that was blocking the highway.
Cosgrove will let fans know when she can resume touring again, with her rep concluding: "Miranda thanks everyone for their understanding and support."
