The pic kind of looks like the 80's Joan Jett in "I Love Rock N Roll". Is it just me?

I really dont see what is wrong with her hair, its not bad at all. I am not a huge fan of hers but everytime i have seen anything of hers i like it. She looks like a cool girl. Some people just need more time to find someone than others. Why are people so mean to her, i just dont understand it
