For the Kids: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Reunite

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were spotted together yesterday in Southampton, New York. But it isn't for the reasons you might think, or Anthony might hope.

"The intention was to spend time with his kids Emme and Max, and they had a beautiful time. He's been with Max and Emme a few times now," the singer's rep tells People.

Their children represent the only reason Lopez and Anthony will ever get together, friends swear. One insider practically jumped through the screen when asked by E! News about a possible reconciliation:

"She's done, as she should be. Do you have any idea what she put up with? [Jennifer] would never go back to Marc. Never."

    I hope she and Marc Anthony do reconcile and get back together. How tragic they are split up with their two nice children too! They look like a nice couple, and seeing them together on American Idol too! He a good singer and she a beautiful lady, good dancer and actress. I pray God would reunite them and bless them!
