Auntie M, on another note what do you think about the Affordable Care Act? I ask since you and your daughters have all of these health issues which has caused you and them to be denied jobs, school opportunities and friendships to name a few. Another question, are your health care issues due to diet?

Auntie M, you are right about communicating effectively, but you were sidetracked. The issue at hand is what do you think about the use of the term “tar baby” in relation to the President of the United States?

What bothers me the most is that the Colorado Congressman issued a disrespecful and condesending apology after he surely realize the hateful term he used. "He regrets that he chose the phrase 'tar baby,' rather than the word 'quagmire.' The congressman is confident that the president will accept his heartfelt apology." If we were not sure what he meant the first time he surely clarified he is hateful by his apology.

Who uses the word "tar baby" anymore! It was definitely meant to be offensive against our President. In the days of slavery, they would tar and feather African Americans before or after the hung them. This is a disgrace to our President and the entire African American community. Lamborn should step down. Even if he steps down, he will still receive over $28,000/yr tax free for the rest of his life!!!

Samra ~ yes, unfortunately racism does still exist. It is an issue that needs to be confronted daily! Along with many other issues of human judgement. I am not black. But I am medically disabled. I have 2 daughters who also deal with physical health issues. We have all been denied jobs, school opportunities, friendships & so many other things because of what others perceived of us. Before becoming permanently disabled I taught on both the secondary & college levels as well as serving as a school administrator. I was deeply disturbed by your use of the English language, spelling & overall lack of knowledge concerning our history & political leaders. Please refrain from making a bigger ass out of the American people. Thank you!
