Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum: Will They Last?
Following a tearful engagement on The Bachelorette season finale, the question now becomes whether Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum can stand the test of time.
The Bachelor and Bachelorette track records? Not good.
Trista and Ryan Sutter are married with kids. Jason and Molly Mesnick wed last year. Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are still happily engaged.
That's about it for the success stories.
We're not saying they're going to end up like Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi here, but plenty of couples who looked strong and smitten have fizzled fast.
Last night on the After the Final Rose special, the two seemed elated to be reunited, thrilled at the prospect of merely getting to live life openly together.
That's a good sign, and hopefully an indicator that the construction manager and dental student can make this work. Think they can? Vote in our poll ...

Will her and J. P. Make it? I don't believe so, however, it's her choice. I just wish they would put Ben on the next Show, he's amazing and all Ashley did was play him. She knew she wanted J.P., so don't play Ben like a fiddle and le to him throughout the dhow. NO CLASS ON ER PART! Sad, very sad!

I always felt JP had lots of girlfriends and was out just to win the game. So he won. He's a player and knows how to get the girl. It seemed like he was more genuine in the end. Ben was smarter and so well spoken, well dressed, accomplished, polite.
I don't like how she made a fool out of Ben with her family with the funny voices. Why? To please her sister who was hung up on, 'does he make you laugh?' Ridiculous. Happiness is what counts. The issue now between JP and Ash is that she was intimite with Ben on the last night before the proposal. It was a dirty thing to do to Ben and to JP when she knew who she was going to pick. She showed very skanky values and behavior for all of America to see. I was beginning to like her before she did that. Is JP using this as his way out so he can get back to his own life? HIghly likely. I don't see love, I see a competitor determined to win. As usual, Ashley jumps in after her heart without considering what the guy is up to and his

Ben, Ashley isn't the one for you. If I were I would turn my back on her if she will ever comes back to you. She must grow up, behaving like a 16 year old. Forget about her. You deserve better.

What exactly was Ms. cutie Ashley game? She provoke love with these men and than states she knew were her heart was. Brad gave her respect, had the decentance not to take her to the final rose. Why did she hve to crush Ben all the way to the end knowing his history. She wanted a great finale and no other man would stick around to see it though? Remember this what goes around comes around. It may not be today or tomorrow, but it will come.

Lynn, while I appreciate your comments about Ashley "A-Bear" having mud on her face, Ben should be nowhere around when she falls. She all but "punk'd" him at the end and I was so impressed how he turned and left with his dignity. He was having none of it when her little bow-legged self ran after him and tried to tell him "what a great guy" he was. Pleeeeeeez! How insulting!

It's rumored that JP is still in love with his old girl friend. I think she should have picked Ben and not because of the rumor I think he's the one for her

I didn't think JP was the one. But now I have had a change of heart. I think I understand him better. My late husband (of 47 years!) was 32 and I, 23, when we married. He was older, more mature and that much wiser! He also had the clean cut good looks of JP. I wish them many years of happiness. Good show. First time watcher and I really enjoyed it! ~0:-D

Stevie Wonder can see the love between J.P. and Ashley. Being with a person with a sense of humor is one thing, but being with a man because he keeps you laughing, unless you're looking for some kind of constant comic relief or an entertainer, has nothing to do with love. Friendship, maybe.

Ben don't get rid of that ring because Ashley will be back wit h mud on her face! You and Ashley are beautiful people together! Her sister was right about JP so please Ben stay close to pick her up when she falls!
