What does a royal couple do when it rains? Probably what you did.
On Saturday, Prince William and Kate Middleton saw not one, but two films at a local branch of Cineworld in Llandudno Junction, about 35 miles outside Anglesey, Wales, where William is stationed as a search and rescue pilot.
The 29-year-olds contributed to the box office record totals of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and also saw Bridesmaids.
Kate Middleton "was dressed casually, in jeans and a cardigan," an insider said. "They [each] had drinks, but shared a bag of popcorn."
While Harry Potter is a product of Brit J.K. Rowling and features big-name English stars, Bridesmaids topped the Duchess' must-see list.
At the July 9 BAFTA Brits to Watch bash in L.A., director Paul Feig joked with Kate that it's good she waited until after tying the knot:
"We were joking that it was a good thing she didn't see Bridesmaids before she got married, or she might have been a runaway bride!"
We're guessing she liked it. It's pretty darn funny.
