Whitney Port and Ben Nemtin Break Up

After about a year and a half together, Whitney Port and Ben Nemtin have gone their separate ways, two insiders confirm to Us Weekly.

The Hills and The City star, now exclusively a fashion designer, quietly made the announcement herself at an event Saturday, reports say.

"I don't have a boyfriend," she said, calling single life "definitely different, but I'm enjoying my time focusing on work and keeping busy."

Port (whose exes include The City co-star Jay Lyon and E!'s Ben Lyons) began dating Ben Nemtin of MTV's The Buried Life in February 2010.

Last summer, a pal said the duo were "totally in love." Port's former boss Kelly Cutrone said that "Ben is delicious, lovely and very smart."

"Things are standing at a fine point," Port gushed last September.

Too bad that couldn't last. Here's wishing them both the best.
