Pixar pretty much rules Hollywood.

Despite negative reviews across the board, Cars 2 dominated the box office this weekend, making it the latest hit for the movie studio.

Similarly, another Pixar sequel made news when a BBC interviewer asked Tom Hanks whether we’d see another Toy Story. The actor, promoting his latest film, Larry Crowne, replied: “I think there will be, yeah. I think they’re working on it now.”

Meanwhile, the first official preview for Brave (above) has been released.

Featuring the voices of Kelly Macdonald and Emma Thompson, among others, the film will come out on 6/22/12 and actually be the first to feature a female in the lead. It focuses on Merida, a princess who defies a sacred custom and heads off on her own journey.
